Batora: Lost Heaven does not set out to develop sophisticated mechanics or a highly explorable universe, but stands out for the simplicity with which it implements its progression and customization systems, focusing on the development of a linear action guided by a typical hero's journey narrative.

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed has its positive points and could be an option for fans of the franchise and those who like asynchronous multiplayer. Other than that, the lack of content, evolution and variation reaffirms a shallow and uninteresting game to dedicate several hours to.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection further enriches Sony's PC catalog and showcases the full potential these experiences can deliver when freed from the shackles of their home console.

A Plague Tale: Requiem is a fantastic game. The graphics are beautiful, the soundtrack is amazing, the gameplay is very good and the story is immersive and impactful. There are a few minor technical problems – which are far from ruining the experience – and, because it is a linear and plot-focused game, there's not much to do once you've finished the campaign.

Let's Build a Zoo excels at balancing the already traditional mechanics of management games with huge doses of charisma and fun. However, it is in the genetic manipulation system and in the challenge of caring for its illustrious guests where it proves most brilliant, not by bringing megalomaniacal ideals, but by making what is simple into something enchanting.

85 / 100 - Jack Move
Oct 14, 2022

Jack Move is a great RPG inspired by classics of the genre that, despite stumbling a bit with developing its story, delivers a great combat system and a very immersive world that make the time investiment well worth it.

Josh Journey: Darkness Totems has positive highlights in its artistic part as a whole, but serious gameplay problems prevent any success in the final experience.

Dakar Desert Rally is among the main games of the genre and offers a series of great possibilities to honor the legacy of the brand, that still lacks good representatives in the world of games. With beautiful visuals, spectacular world-building and a great level of customizable challenge, the game ends up suffering from inconsistent physics, overly stiff controls and some performance issues, but the balance is still quite positive.

Alfred Hitchcock: Vertigo is a beautiful tribute to the style that immortalized one of the greatest filmmakers of all time, offering an interesting and unusual suspense plot in games. However, even full of good intentions, it fails by offering extremely simple mechanics, which end up hindering immersion instead of favoring it.

80 / 100 - PGA Tour 2K23
Oct 10, 2022

PGA Tour 2K23 is a good evolution from the previous games in the series, delivering an awesome golf simulation, a good improvement in its technical aspects and a good Career mode for solo players. Its only issues are the lack of more elaborate multiplayer modes, but it's undeniable that this is a franchise on the rise.

65 / 100 - No More Heroes 3
Oct 6, 2022

No More Heroes 3 is a title that I've been waiting for a long time, but it didn't live up to expectations. It's a game that shows great potential, but never commits to fully realizing them, resulting in an experience that is unique but unsatisfying.

70 / 100 - Valkyrie Elysium
Oct 4, 2022

Valkyrie Elysium has a very good combat system and a great soundtrack. However, its story is shallow, its campaign is short, and the graphics are bad.

84 / 100 - Prodeus
Oct 3, 2022

Despite some flaws regarding progress and also enemy variation and AI, Prodeus is an excellent shooter inspired by the first FPS we had. Intense action, outstanding fun and delightful to play are the great qualities seen here.

Voice of Cards: The Beasts of Burden is another great dose from the series, delivering its best gameplay and best story so far, with a game much more focused in its execution. Some old issues are still present, but it is a great JRPG for fans of the genre with little time available, but willing to test unique and fun games.

A product of its time, Sam & Max Save the World is a remaster dedicated to fans of the series and point and click games, but in the current market, the audience might not be much bigger than that.

90 / 100 - OneShot
Oct 1, 2022

OneShot: World Machine Edition offers all the best you can expect from a point-and-click adventure. There are creative and coherent puzzles with the gameplay system, and a captivating and, at times, surprising story. Added to all this is the curious way in which it plays with the game's own limits and even with a slip or another, it can become one of the favorite games of the genre for many people – myself included.

Watcher Chronicles isn't a groundbreaking game and doesn't focus on story or narrative, but the combat and its souslike RPG characteristics are satisfying. The fun is guaranteed both playing alone and in multiplayer – a mode with coherent adaptations that make the game more dynamic to be played in pairs, despite the limitations for the second player.

70 / 100 - Hokko Life
Sep 27, 2022

Although it takes advantage of common mechanics and an almost protocol progression system, which can displease those looking for something different from what we've seen before, Hokko Life, without any shame in its references and inspirations, really stands out for its creation system and customization of items and mainly for the enchantment of its light and childish proposal.

80 / 100 - FIFA 23
Sep 27, 2022

FIFA 23 keeps the series tradition, with extremely fun gameplay, good improvements in comparison to last year, beautiful graphics and rich game modes that will keep you entertained for hours and hours. It may not the most accurate football simulator on the market, but it is so far ahead its competition that, if you are a soccer fan, this is the game for you.

75 / 100 - Soulstice
Sep 23, 2022

Soulstice is a beautiful hack 'n slash that falls short in areas such as world building, pacing, level design, and art direction. However, it establishes a shared combat and exploration system between two characters in one that, by itself, makes it surprising and challenging.
