SINce Memories: Off the Starry Sky stands as the first coming of the Memories Off franchise to the west, but, unfortunately, it leaves something to be desired in a crucial aspect: the English localization, which severely compromises the enjoyment and understanding of the story. Maybe it's not the best way to promote this brand-new content on this side of the globe, but the product is a great recommendation for those who love a more mundane, believable and down-to-earth narrative.

With a variety of unique characters and robust unlockable system, OBAKEIDORO! turns the classic "cops and robbers" into an extremely fun multiplayer experience. It's a real shame that the title doesn't have many active players, making it necessary to be lucky to get a full room.

F-Zero 99 is proof that Nintendo can still innovate with its classic franchises, with a beautiful nostalgia hit in its classic soundtrack and the visuals that simulate the original game's Mode7, offering a [...] thrilling experience that respects the legacy of the series and at the same time brings something completely new to the table.

For those who love indies filled with good ideas, Eternights brings established formulas from various notable titles to tell a story about the end of the world with teenagers that only wanted to live their lives. There's definitely room for various improvements but this action RPG is one of the best picks for those who want a well established plot and an almost exclusive focus on character development.

Card-en-Ciel is an excellent representative of deckbuilders with roguelite elements, though it could have offered more diverse areas and has an entry barrier in the [poor] explanation of some mechanics. The result is addicting, with various synergy choices that are well conceived and interesting to explore.

Blazing Strike is a fighting game with the potential to be better than its presentation. Hidden by its various limitations are a truly fun combat, varied and charming characters and a compelling ambiance[, all of] which deserve to shine more than they currently do.

Despite not reaching the high points of some of its predecessors, Ys X: Nordics is yet another thrilling action RPG that's consistent with the franchise's quality. Hopefully, the next Adol games will manage to make the most out of what was developed here and bring even more enticing journeys.

Neva is a magnificent action adventure, a true work of art. It masterfully combines contemplation and action, delivering an artistic composition and immersive and exciting narrative. Alba and Neva’s journey is captivating from start to finish, creating a special bond between the player and the characters. While certain themes may resonate more with some people than others, the reflection on the cycles of life and time is universal. Neva is stunning, beautiful, poetic and devastating.

Simple at its surface, complex in execution, Refind Self: The Personality Test Game is an experience that manages to explain how our decisions in many situations mold us as people. It's not a 100% accurate personality test, obviously, but it definitely helps clear many doubts we have about ourselves.

Following the franchise's pattern, Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream has flaws in some aspects that limit its quality and longevity, leaving the ground prepared for updates and DLCs that will certainly appear. However, although I don't consider it the best in the series, this game certainly offers the best online system and the greatest diversity of gameplay among the available characters.

Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles dares to replace traditional cards with dice, but it validates this creative decision by delivering a fun and engaging adventure that is perfectly adapted to the Switch. Although its natural complexity makes this game more suitable for those who already have experience with the genre, this is a title that is recommended to all those who are not afraid of challenges and, on the contrary, enjoy using strategy to reverse unfavorable conditions with the tools at their disposal.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom encourages creativity and freedom of choice within the more limited scope of 2D games, with Zelda taking the lead role. It's a great fusion of what works and what's new, highlighting the franchise's ability to reinvent itself without ignoring its past. Here's to praying for the future that this will be just the first of many adventures in which the princess is the titular and true owner of the legend.

The Last Shot is a simple puzzle that doesn't dare revolutionize like its anonymous hero, but it's a fun game to spend some hours. Its graphic beauty and quick entertainment are a good way to kill time. [It's] A little of a wasted opportunity to develop such an ample and interesting subgenre like dieselpunk but it offers a horrible world to live in but beautiful to think about.

RPG Maker WITH is a very limited version of a useful game making tool. Even though it manages to offer an intuitive experience on Switch, the limitations are too big to create something more original. It'd be better to invest in one of the PC editions if you want to really get into game development.

Home Safety Hotline delivers a unique, compelling experience, smartly combining daily life situations with supernatural events. With a simple and pleasant gameplay, a well-built mythology, and a precise recreation of the 90's atmosphere, the game stands out as an excellent example of horror.

Betting on themes that go beyond traditional romance, 9 R.I.P. is yet another excellent pick for visual novel fans, especially for people who enjoy the otome demography. Even with a slightly more mature approach compared to other Otomate titles I've reviewed, the game is an invite to a narrative in which the supernatural and human emotions intertwine in an exceptionally well-made manner and without leaving loose ends.

The Plucky Squire is among the most enjoyable and creative titles of recent years. Although the lack of challenges and limited combat may be a bit of a hindrance, the excellent setting and the way the story is able to captivate different audiences make it a great game for the whole family. The caveat is in the technical part: although it doesn't get to the point of ruining the experience, whether running in portable mode on the Switch or in the dock, the game behaves unstable in some situations and presents questionable visuals when in 3D. After finishing the campaign, the impression I had is that the portable mode behaved better in both aspects.

Go Mecha Ball brings a chaotic and fun concept, combining shooting, roguelike and pinball mechanics in a intriguing way. Thanks to its fast gameplay and satisfying challenges, the title can offer good entertainment moments. However, the absence of more variety in the roguelike elements plus the frustrations from moving around and the unstable performance on Switch severely compromise the general experience.

The Hokkaido Serial Murder Case: The Okhotsk Disappearance ~Memories in Ice, Tearful Figurine~ is one of the best remakes I've seen besides being one of the best visual novels I've played. A mighty plot, charismatic characters, and immersive ambiance (both in the 1980's or nowadays). It's an excellent pick for the genre's enthusiasts. Its issues are evident and could have been easily fixed but it'd be disrespectful to not see the merit in one of the first works in the visual novel genre. A good pick for investigators looking for strange cases.

Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines is a sequel that fulfills its role, innovates a little here and there, and that's it: a job well done that probably won't be marked in the gaming trajectory of many players, but that entertained while it lasted.
