In a virtually infinite sea of indie RPGs, The Nameless: Slay Dragon manages to stand out by respecting its many influences and delivering a cohesive, polished and especially fun adventure, which proves to have done the right choice in focusing on the narrative and giving players freedom. Pretty much flawless from a technical standpoint, the Switch version is a great way to follow the steps of the legendary Dragon Slayer and bring peace to mankind once and for all.

Even with a few technical issues, Roadwarden preserves its best qualities on the Switch version, proving itself to be an essential RPG for those who love compelling narratives and adventures with free choices. In the end, the mission to be a roadwarden isn't easy, but it definitely has the potential to be memorable whenever we accept it.

Shuten Order isn't perfect, but it's bold and intriguing. A recommended title for visual novel fans looking for complex stories and authentic representations more than challenging gameplay or impeccable technical polish. An uneven jewel, but no doubt a jewel.

Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution delivers a fine recovery of the franchise's legendary lost masterpiece. While it's not the best game in the series, and its age often works against it more than for it (see the lack of a map), it's undoubtedly positive that fans can finally play the title they were promised back in the early 2000s. Furthermore, while we don't see a new chapter in the journey of gaming's most beloved half-genie, revisiting the past proves that, in this case, it was worth the wait—here's to the next adventures.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land Switch 2 Edition + Star Crossed World is the definitive version of one of the pink ball's most beloved adventures. Enhanced visuals, impeccable performance, enchanting art direction, an epic soundtrack, and varied gameplay make this package irresistible. Despite some minor drawbacks—unchallenging enemies, the lack of an explanatory menu for the Copies and new Copies—the game brims with charisma, content, and creativity. Kirby, Elfilin, and the Waddle Dees are more brilliant than ever.

Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar fulfills its role as a remake well, going beyond nostalgia by offering a charming and fun experience, supported by a combination of systems capable of engaging the player. However, when compared to more robust modern farming simulators, its limitations become evident, placing it in a more modest position.

Due to its rigidly linear structure and little variety in expansions, Discounty is definitely not one of those simulation titles that keeps the player attention indeterminately or willing to come back from time to time. Even so, the game manages to deliver a fun experience along with a functional narrative that explores interesting social themes.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown accomplishes its purpose with flying colors, delivering a fun title that will definitely please fans of strategy games and players looking for a new Turtles adventure on Switch.

Herdling puts the player on the role of a guide for mysterious beings that are on the border of fantasy and arouses curiosity in knowing up to which point the protagonist is before something real and whether they understand the weight of their role. However, in the end, the developers managed to make it so that the player wishes to reach the end for the sake of the calicorns.

Given its long-standing impact on the indie community, OFF has long deserved a definitive version, and this re-release from Fangamer is careful and respectful enough to provide just that, delivering an adaptation certainly suitable for those unafraid to venture into eccentric RPGs that flirt with horror and the surreal. Ultimately, while some aspects of this remaster may be divisive (such as the complete absence of the original soundtrack and a localization for Brazilian Portuguese), there's no denying that, currently, this is the best way to experience (or revisit) Mortis Ghost's creation in 2025—and the Switch library is grateful for another solid indie title in its already rich catalog.

Gradius Origins manages to do a rare thing: it's, at the same time, a collection of classic games, a historical document and a respectful modernization example.

Time Flies surprised me positively and has become one of my favorite games this year so far. We get a fun title, with many clever ideas, unique backgrounds and even philosophical moments (the last sequence, to me, was one of the most remarkable [moments] I've seen in recent times) — and all this in a simple and quick to complete package. Maybe this is also the only weak point to the game: I felt like it should have more areas to explore. Nonetheless, Time Flies is a must-play to those who are looking for a short, remarkable and fun experience on Nintendo Switch.

Ninja Gaiden Ragebound does a great job in pretty much all the necessary aspects and delivers not only a worthy successor to Ryu Hayabusa's legendary NES trilogy, but also one of the best 2D games in recent years for fans of action [games]. It's, thus, a shame that the Nintendo version is below expectations; taking into account its general qualities, Kenji's and Kumori's fun adventure deserved better than the performance issues on Big N's two consoles. As a result, in its current state, there are better ways to save the world than becoming a ninja on Switch.

Drag x Drive entertained me more than expected, with fun controls and satisfying gameplay. The graphics are great, and I didn’t experience technical issues. However, it lacks local multiplayer, has few customization rewards, and limited game modes. While the Joy-Con controls are well done, the game feels incomplete, lacking the signature Nintendo charm. It’s fun for a few hours, but without extra content, it could easily be forgotten as a tech demo for the Nintendo Switch 2.

Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of The Rings Game brings a unique concept to the Tolkien adaptation library and accomplishes its goal in a shallow manner, putting players in the role of one of the most iconic people of the Middle Earth. However, just like a poorly prepared cake, it presents big inconsistencies that make the end result practically empty and flavorless.

Monument Valley 3 is definitely the apex of this experience, standing out as the best game in the franchise so far. Full of personality and with a remarkable, touching visual, and, even though it still has some small issues, it delivers a powerful artistic experience — one of those you need to experience yourself.

Wild Hearts S serves as a good option for those waiting for a new Monster Hunter experience on the Switch 2. It offers similar gameplay, but manages to stand out with its own identity by mixing elements of crafting, with several ways to have fun with the hunts presented. It is worth noting, however, that issues like performance, questionable graphics, and the limited player base due to the lack of crossplay are obstacles that prevent this version from reaching its full potential.

Dungeons & Dragons Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition no Switch is a classic case of a missed opportunity. It was the chance to show a past icon to new players with due respect and care. Instead, it is a lazy port, filled with technical issues and limitations that make the experience frustrating rather than pleasant.

Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 offers more content and modes compared to the first game, maintaining its stunning visuals and accessible combat that fans of the anime will enjoy. The new equipment system and Training Paths mode add a welcome strategic layer, and the expanded roster provides variety for those who like to experiment with different combinations. The battles remain the highlight, especially with cinematic animations and fidelity to the original work. However, the sequel doesn't make significant progress in areas that were previously criticized, such as the shallow story mode and simplistic combat mechanics. The additions seem more like expansions rather than true evolution, leaving the experience stagnant for those seeking more depth or innovation. It's still enjoyable, especially for fans of the series, but lacks the ambition to appeal to a more demanding audience.
