The Match Village proposal is indeed interesting, but it could bring more basic features for players, such as presenting the nomenclature of each available building, even if it were in a guide menu; because confusing some similar houses can ruin a game for a while. The need to move the camera all the time is also a little frustrating, which can turn the mission of populating your village into something stressful.

Valiant Hearts: Coming Home presents an emotional experience with a realistic and moving perspective of World War I, highlighting the challenges those who lived in this historical period faced. Despite the gameplay simplicity, which may not please all players, it's an experience worth checking out, especially for those who have already gone through the previous title.

Pepper Grinder is a creative platformer that uses its unique drilling mechanics across an impressive variety of stages. The mix of fast-paced action, exploration and puzzles results in a stylish adventure full of exciting moments. The various ways to use the drill, from crossing obstacles to controlling vehicles, guarantee a diverse experience from start to finish. However, the game falters with control precision issues and frustrating blind jumps, introducing an element of trial and error that can be irritating; despite this, it manages to offer a satisfying journey, with its few extras serving as an additional incentive for the most dedicated. Furthermore, Pepper Grinder is an adventure that, despite its flaws, entertains with its creative design and unique mechanics.

Despite the limitations for the controls and gameplay, Fruit Mountain is still a solid option for those looking for a lighthearted, fun puzzle. Its simplicity and charm make it a pleasant experience for players to appreciate it like a tasty, cold juice.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 feels more like a remake or reimagining that improves on the original ideas than an actual sequel. Its plot does not continue the original plot, it makes the same narrative errors and its design bears little resemblance to something actually conceived in 2024. However, the experience remains interesting and fun at all times. The epic combat, exquisite art direction that delivers a true fantasy world, improved vocation and pawn system and the feeling of freedom and exploration, with dangers lurking around every corner, make this RPG a delight for fans of the genre.

After many hours playing The Rise of Ronin, it is undeniable that it bears many similarities to titles such as Ghost of Tsushima, Sekiro Shadows Die Twice and Nioh. It may be inferior to them in certain aspects, but it also surpasses its peers in several aspects. More than that, it offers an original and rich experience, full of unique and competent elements. Not only is the adventure engaging, but it can be shaped according to the player's decisions. The gameplay is even more flexible and satisfying, with many types of weapons, combos, projectiles, items and equipment to obtain and master, all of them well implemented. There are many activities to entertain yourself, from photography to hunting powerful bandits. The few flaws are (far) outweighed by the positive qualities, making the title a practically mandatory addition to your gaming library.

Even without innovating or impressing, Rebel Transmute executes its inspiration in Metroid very well. The adventure on an inhospitable planet is enriched with reasonable narrative doses, competent setting, challenging difficulty and exploration of secrets. The almost non-existent direction can be a hindrance and a source of frustrating repetitions, but it will certainly be worth it for those who enjoy metroidvanias, especially in the science fiction aspect.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake misses the chance to be a more relevant and creative reinterpretation, focusing only on the visual redesign. In the end, the tale of the union between two brothers to save their father remains charming and cozy, a story that can be enjoyed playing solo or as a couple. Even though the second option makes gameplay even simpler, the best way to get into the fantasy is up to each person's taste.

Despite not reaching the level of the original, Alone in the Dark honors the franchise's legacy by being the best title since 1992, with a decent, albeit modest, use of Lovecraft's madness, as well as a great setting and an enigmatic story that captivates from beginning to end, tying several knots in your head. A great experience for long-time fans, and for the most aficionados of survival horror, old or current.

Even with some structural flaws, arising from its mobile nature, Juicy Realm is a fun and charismatic roguelike for those who want quick games, but without any frenzy. Now, if you are a more hardcore fan of the genre, you will end up losing interest and opt for the more intense challenge from other more famous names.

Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley is a solid choice for those looking for a relaxing and enchanting experience, although its simplicity may not appeal to all players. Its nostalgic charm and comforting atmosphere make it a welcome addition to the game library, especially for fans of the Moomins and those looking for a quiet, captivating adventure with a comforting message for those with their inner child open to new lessons.

In the end, The Legend of Legacy HD Remastered doesn't make much of an effort to renovate the original work. What we have here is an RPG that can be interesting only for the most passionate about the genre who are looking for a loose experience focused on combat and grinding.

Cricket Through the Ages takes inspiration from cricket to create a really fun casual game. With its accessible gameplay and good humor spread across all its features, it becomes a great option for those leisure moments with friends, even if the tutorials are poorly designed. Despite this, I don't recommend it if you don't have a friend to share the experience with. The campaign is fun, but after a short while, there isn't much to explore in singleplayer.

Outcast - A New Beginning offers a mix of science fiction and curious fantasy, providing an immersive gaming experience in a vast and visually arresting open world. However, its approach is quite dated, especially due to the excessive amount of repetitive activities that can make progression tedious and an uninspired script.

Highwater takes advantage of the climate debate to create a captivating story, even with some pitfalls. The story of Nikos and his friends is exciting and attracts mainly the musical part and the reflections regarding the protagonists' choices, which bring a melancholic air to the game. Combat is another high point, as there is a good variety of weapons and scenario elements that, when combined, allow you to develop many combat strategies. Its biggest problem, however, is the pace. Both the combat and the dialogues are drawn out, take a long time to finish and leave the adventure boring. Skipping lines or speeding up combat is not a good idea, as it gives the feeling of being disposable factors, but, in practice, they are very important. Still, I believe that Highwater is worth experiencing for its debate and great emotional appeal.

Unicorn Overlord is an extremely fun and addictive strategic RPG. With a vast cast of characters and an automated combat system that encourages players to explore and deeply understand all their options to build a powerful team, the title shines precisely in what is best within this genre: tactical variations.

Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore offers a unique experience that mixes nostalgia, humor and a creative approach in this homage to CD-i's controversial Zelda games. With its art direction faithful to the titles that inspired it, immersive soundtrack and more responsive controls, it is a welcome addition to the indie gaming universe, offering a fun and nostalgic experience for gamers who appreciate a creative and humorous approach of products based on the past.

Death Trick: Double Blind is a criminal investigation adventure that attracts attention with its well-written plot and strategic gameplay challenge. When reaching the end, it is possible to notice all the quality of what has been built up to that point, but the game may not be so suitable for those who want a casual investigation experience, as errors in the search for the truth can generate a frustrating snowball .
