INVEN's Reviews
The world of vampires, the idea of implementing it as a single game was not bad. But the puzzles were unreasonable, and growth system seems failed to mean so much. Also, Poor graphics quality and lip sync interfere with immersion. Lastly, the story can be hard to follow if you are not familiar with WoD.

The game catches your eyes with over 150 road construction puzzles, comfy visual and sweet jazz rhythm. Beginners can also enjoy puzzles without stress thanks to its powerful hint system. However, there are not so many sub contents beside the narratives and records.

Although there is not much difference between Supermassive's previous games systemwise, Quarry shows an interesting storytelling based on classical teenage horror film. Facial expressions came naturally without awkwardness thanks to the collaboration with famous actors. But, it is a bit unfortunate that we can not enjoy co-op multiplayer right after its release.

The game succeed Diablo franchise's core mechanics such as grinding, the pleasure of looting items. The build structure using legendary equipment in the early to mid-game also immersive. However, the fun of growing your character is halved as soon as the way to strengthen it becomes to upgrading legendary gems. Moreover, the in-game payment system seems to failed to provide sufficient satisfaction compared to what have been invested.

Fishing Paradiso is a game that comforts you with its simple yet fun gameplay and the stories about healing emotional wounds that anyone can experience in their daily lives. However, the repetitive gameplay to watch true ending is rather boring, and the quality of the episodes inserted in the middle of the complete version is also a bit jagged.

A game that catches the eye of gamers with a unique material, 'A sharper of medieval France'. It's fine art style visual and beautiful orchestra music, narratives featuring alternative history about 19th century France are impressive. However, they used 'card trick' as a simple tool for progressing the story, unlike my expectation for them to be a key element of the game.

It seems everyone can easily enjoy this run-and-gun action game packed with cute visual and decent level design. Though its overall gameplay is refreshing and comfortable just like a zero-calorie soda, bland storytelling and frequent item part phase are the ones that make the soda flat.

It seems they successfully caught the nostalgic feelings of retro film cameras. A storytelling mechanic based on showing rather than telling is also interesting if it suits your taste. However, some minor errors with PC version need to be fixed in hurry and a few incorrect Korean translations are also affecting the core gameplay.

It presents a unique mystery by using a play-within-a-play that goes back and forth in 100 years. FMV are used as clues rather than interactive movies. And it feels much closer to the game because of that. While the story is attractive, several parts were difficult to immerse. UI/UX of clue-making clearly needs to be improved

The power to immerse into 6 hour gameplay originates from the great narratives of the game. Even though the animations and face expressions are a bit clumsy, The Forgotten City's deep story added on award-winning original mode is something that should not be missed by for those who love mysteries and adventures.

While It is refreshing to implement the movement of gibbons with simple controls, the game's short playtime and repetitive gameplay remains regrettable. Wouldn't it have been more efficient if the message was implemented as an animation using their fairy tale-like visuals?

This is the game that makes you forget about the absence of the new HOMM series. It shows attractive pixel graphics and packed with variety thanks to the strategic elements that were not in previous HOMMs. However, UI and somewhat insufficient map design needs to be improved. If they manage to overcome some shortcomings, you may not have to play HOMM3 anymore.

Puzzle element infused in action rogue-like genre stimulates the interest in many ways. The level design built on the core system such as manipulating Tetris-like scaffolds was also okay. However, the game gets dull pretty quick except for the puzzles because the only differentiator is just stepping stones.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is the best game to start a new Eiyden Chronicle series. The game contains battle through link action, smooth sound, harmonious 2D+3D graphic design and well-balanced story. You can hardly tell that all of these are perfect, but the game has enough quality to enjoy without any concerns.

Rogue Legacy2 shows a perfect combination of Rogue-lite and Metrovania. the game is enjoyable for hundreds of hours thanks to both genres compensate each other's downside. While, the improved exploring and battle systems added the completeness to the previous title, similar gameplay styles and monster designs can make you feel somewhat dull.

Trek to Yomi's excellent visual quality and sound production are enough for you to recall classic black-and-white film. But maybe they put too much effort into the visual side. Gameplay itself feels so plain and simple. The fast-paced combats are interesting in itself but barely changes. And the collectables are not attractive enough.

You can make two different evaluations on "Kombinera" depends on how you conceive its genre as a 'puzzle' or a 'platformer'. While the elaborately designed 300+ puzzles are enough for a challenge, the fact that these puzzles require detailed controls rather than using brain can be polarizing among players. The game's simply but immersive storytelling, flawless UI design is also impressive.

The revival of the legendary 'Wii Sports'. It seems they successfully reflect the company's color. The addition of multiplayer and Pro Rank system allows players to indulge into the game alone, while the competitive system is also simple and easy to challenge. However, it is noticeable that the single play contents are less than the previous title and some games are not easy to fall into.

Warpips is a kind of strategy game that everyone can enjoy quick and easy. The game provides short and intense gameplay, and the bloody battle between soldiers in voxel graphic is also fun to watch. However, It seems necessary to diversify tactics and prepare for multiplayer for long-term gameplay due to the shallow combat system.
