SERIOUSLY, DON’T DO IT! Don’t be afraid to dive into the realm of advanced absurdity, accompanied by the pleasantly offensive humor of an exquisitely cynical narrator. I’m giving it a high rating simply because I can!

Foregone is certainly not a bad game, and I can definitely recommend it to fans of the genre. Unfortunately, compared to other games—such as the genre’s standout, Hollow Knight—it feels terribly ordinary, neither here nor there. As a quick little game, it serves its purpose perfectly. If you’re looking for some light-hearted fun in this genre, you should definitely give Foregone a try. However, if you want something more substantial, I’d recommend checking out other games like Hollow Knight, Dead Cells, and others.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands is a great action game with an interesting premise, set in a fantastic world with beautiful graphics, a great sale price, a well-crafted story, and a few annoying bugs—all topped off with microtransactions. I've forgiven it, and you should too for just ten bucks.

Even though Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion has a few flaws, it’s not a waste of time, and I believe that spending a few hours in the world of animated plants could brighten someone’s day. It’s definitely the perfect game for a long train ride or a wait at the doctor’s office, especially if you pick it up for the Nintendo Switch.

Forts is a simple real-time strategy game where you build your own fortress in any shape you like, blow up the enemy’s, and might even accidentally break yours in half. Just like when you were a kid and could build your favorite models. However, the game is let down by its lackluster multiplayer mode, the near-total absence of music, and, above all, the fact that it gets repetitive very quickly.

Fling to the Finish is a cooperative game where you and your partner are connected by a rope and must navigate through levels or races together in a coordinated manner. The developers are still working on this game, improving it and adding new content, which is definitely a plus. To groups of 2–8 players, we say that this is definitely the game for you and will certainly keep you entertained for a short while. On the other hand, we do not recommend it at all for solo players.

NEKOPARA - Catboys Paradise is a relaxing experience for all fans of the series who have always wondered what the male cat versions would be like. What will surely please you most is that you can play the game completely free of charge, and it offers the quality of the classic NEKOPARA we all know so well, including detailed visuals, professional voice acting, and an engaging story. Unfortunately, we don’t get to learn much from it, as the creators don’t reveal much to us.

Superliminal plays with perspective and optical illusions brilliantly and brings a healthy dose of originality to the gaming market. Still, I feel that the developers didn’t fully realize the game’s potential, and their efforts to achieve variety weren’t entirely successful in every respect. For newcomers, this may be a good starting point, but more demanding veterans might be disappointed.

Zombie Army 4: Dead War performs very well on the Nintendo Switch. If you’re an experienced player on this console, you won’t have any trouble with the controls at first. Graphically, the game looks decent, with the X-ray mode and mild gore adding to the fun. Unfortunately, over time, the gameplay and everything else becomes somewhat monotonous. Still, it’s a very good title that I can recommend to all fans of zombie games.

I have to say that despite its simplicity, Hidden Folks really entertained me, and I can’t wait for the developers to add more images or create a new game. After finishing the game, you can sign up for a newsletter about new levels, which I didn’t hesitate to do. You can also play it on mobile devices. It’s perfect for killing time on public transit or in the bathroom, but playing on a phone can be a bit limiting due to the smaller screen. When searching through the largest images, you’ll appreciate the overview a large monitor provides. The only downside I see is that you can’t start a new game without deleting your previous progress (the Steam version). So if multiple players are using the same account, you have to take turns.

Rust is a game you’ll both love and hate. You’ll love it when you manage to outsmart an opponent and strip them of everything, and hate it when the same thing happens to you. However, I’d recommend that new players don’t give up, stick with it, and success will come sooner or later. I do recommend taking about a week off, though, because learning the game mechanics will take you several hours—or even dozens of hours. And at least while you’re learning Rust, I’d definitely skip the official servers, as well as any servers with a population over 150 players and servers with maps smaller than 3,500, so you don’t get crushed right from the start. Studying the game’s basic mechanics, such as mining, building, and the like, is an absolute must, because no one is going to go easy on you. In any case, you’ll have a blast if you stick with it. Brawlhalla is the perfect game for LAN parties, geek sessions, or letting off steam after a tough day at work. Everyone will have fun, regardless of age or experience. Stunning graphics, plenty of rewards, skins, and other in-game content are a given. Updates are released at least every three months, so not only is the gameplay itself dynamic, but it’s also clear that the developers are striving to provide the best possible user experience.

In conclusion, I’d describe Volcanoids as a survival game, but one that’s different from the other survival games you’re familiar with. Survival here doesn’t depend on having enough food and drinking water, but rather on upgrading your equipment and your drill. So you can have fun with your friends while playing, but you’ll also have to work up a sweat completing various missions from your captain.

Gloomhaven is a highly successful digital adaptation of the globally popular and acclaimed board game. The game offers hours of mental challenges with a sophisticated combat system and fairly interesting stories and objectives for each mercenary. However, the Guildmaster mode is clearly the standout feature of the video game, as it has a more dynamic pace compared to the classic campaign—especially since fatigue sets in over time, as the vast number of missions eventually becomes repetitive. As a board game adaptation, you’ll likely enjoy the game more in a relaxed atmosphere with friends in co-op mode than by trying to rush through it.

With a playtime of less than ten hours, Leisure Larry is a pretty interesting adventure game that relies on humor laced with sex and profanity. The story is great, the game looks fantastic, you get used to the music, and once you realize that it’s actually a love story, you’ll find yourself in the midst of something absolutely perfect.

Pronty: Fishy Adventure, despite a few noticeable issues, does a truly excellent job in terms of its combat system and stunning audiovisual presentation. While it’s not a groundbreaking masterpiece, the game will stick with you for various reasons, and you’ll particularly enjoy the battles against its interesting bosses. This adventure game will keep you entertained for about fifteen hours if you want to explore every inch of the underwater world. For fans of the genre, it’s definitely worth your time.

Endzone - A World Apart is an engaging post-apocalyptic building strategy game that will keep you glued to your screen for hours on end. It particularly stands out for its appealing and fairly original design of certain buildings and mechanics. Thanks to the changing conditions—notably unstable weather, radiation, and the ability to send scouts into the ruins—it’s a lot of fun. However, the settlement’s defense could be a bit more in-depth, and it wouldn’t hurt to have more building upgrade options or a larger research tree. Even so, it’s a very well-made game within its category.

Overall, MotoGP 22 is more of a minor refinement of its predecessor, bringing certain aspects a step closer to reality. Were it not for a few shortcomings—such as poorly tuned AI, some visual glitches, and the lack of major new features—MotoGP 22 would be an absolutely perfect title for both newcomers and die-hard veterans of the series. Even so, this installment is the best Milestone has ever released. I give it eight out of ten.

Considering that Uragun is still in early access, it has a lot to offer. The game is quite challenging, but on the other hand, it lets you develop your own playstyle. You can build a robot to your liking and then explore various locations. Beautiful graphics paired with great background music enhance the action-packed experience this game delivers. And while the price of €14.99 (366 CZK) seems a bit steep at the moment, the game is definitely worth buying.

Combining a simulator with motorcycles is truly every biker’s dream, and the game is quite relaxing. However, I miss the Czech localization—there are many activities and components in the game with complicated names. The realistic sounds and visual style are what keep you hooked on this title.
