60 / 100 - Raging Justice
May 23, 2018

There's a lot of fun to be had on the first playthrough, but the game simply doesn't offer enough content or complexity to keep my attention. It's classic art-style and gameplay are a tribute to a bygone era, but there is no excuse for the lack of content present in a title being ported to current gen consoles in 2018.

83 / 100 - FAR: Lone Sails
May 23, 2018

I dare to say there are very few titles that can recreate the flow of problem-solving and artistry present in this experience. Fewer still could trigger my emotional investment.

Overall, Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time is both a fun experience for fans of the series as well as a good introduction for others. While the gameplay is a bit repetitive, it is still enjoyable, and both the visuals and audio make it a joy to experience.

77 / 100 - Spacejacked

Similar to a classic arcade game but made better, Spacejacked is extremely addicting and delightfully frustrating.

60 / 100 - The Watchmaker
May 21, 2018

Sadly, my beleaguered appreciation of The Watchmaker's aesthetic polish was not enough to carry me all the way through to the end. As it happens, I am brimming with caustic vitriol for timed dungeons of any sort, which you may notice is like, this entire game. I struggled mightily to push as far as I could, yet the infuriating sensation of constant dread built into this game's bones utterly broke me.

Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles does its best to present you with a steady stream of breathtaking vistas, serene escapes and idyllic moments that snap to a picture frame with flawless ease. The core game has all of its slight flaws that came with the other versions, but I found that taking time to frame and save some of what I saw gave me a deeper appreciation of Yonder's many high points.

66 / 100 - MachiaVillain
May 19, 2018

Ultimately, MachiaVillain needs a lot of cleaning up, explanations and balance fixes. Then maybe we can all come together to have a bloody good time.

Lake Ridden may not be doing anything new or incredibly exciting, but it still feels unique.

74 / 100 - Conan Exiles
May 18, 2018

Conan Exiles offers hundreds of hours worth of addicting gameplay for those who love the grind and tediousness of crafting combined with the challenge of survival. The play modes are so flexible that anyone, regardless of experience with the genre, can jump in and get a fair start.

88 / 100 - Runner3

Runner3 is an old idea with a fresh coat of paint, but that idea still brings a lot of fun to the table.

Alongside from its setting, Pillars of Eternity II improves in almost every way upon the already celebrated Pillars I, from the obvious, such as improved graphics and increased voiceovers, to the details, like better stealth mechanics and a new day-night system.

40 / 100 - State of Decay 2
May 17, 2018

Although there's a very competent core loop and entertaining resource management sim somewhere within State of Decay 2, it's really, really, broken. Unacceptably so. It frustrated me mightily to see a flash of a game I wanted to play, only to be immediately reminded that it's not ready for release.

Overall, and despite a few relatively small annoyances throughout the game, Super Mega Baseball 2 provides an enjoyable for the entire family!

Popular locations, iconic songs and a truckload of things to see and do make this one title that is going to keep you going well until the next Zelda game comes out, and then some.

Overall, Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux is a worthy installment on the 3DS not only as an enhanced port of a 2010 game but as just a regular 3DS title all on its own.

90 / 100 - Wizard of Legend
May 14, 2018

There really isn't much I can fault Wizard of Legend for overall. It's apparent that Contingent99 knows what they are doing, and they've confirmed that there is post-launch content on the way as well, so be sure to give these two gentlemen an honest shot, as you may end up as pleasantly surprised as I was, if not more so.
