If Two Point Hospital was your jam when it was released four years ago then Two Point Campus will no doubt already be on your wishlist. It's not perfect and needs some tweaks but it is still a blast to play when everything's working out.

While I have my qualms, building a university is a worthwhile, entertaining experience. Two Point Campus could do with a bump in challenge and some better pacing, but its core of building and management are great fun. Two Point Campus is funny, engaging and rewarding, a fine example of the management sim.

Two Point Campus takes its time to teach you the fundamentals of running a successful university, with free reign on how you complete your objectives. The depth of the resources given to you and the amount of customisation for each of your campuses shows great attention to detail. The game is filled with wacky, silly, and sometimes dry humour that you can't help but laugh at. While there are annoying inconveniences, success is still in your hands. It can be hectic, but you won't find a better university management sim than this.

Two Point Campus is another excellent entry from Two Point Studios that showcases not only more of the team's penchant for humorous and accessible management sim gameplay but genuine love for the genre. With a new spin that makes for a distinctly new-feeling gameplay loop and moment-to-moment decision making there's something here for both hardcore sim fans and casual onlookers. Some missed opportunities and controller-specific issues aside, there's never been a better time to create a ton of student debt.

A Grade A return to a solidly high achieving franchise. Two Point Campus has plenty of silly SATS and delightful moments without upending the core of what makes the Two Point experience so easy to enjoy.

Two Point Campus keeps the playful style of Two Point Hospital while making enough new changes to the gameplay. It is not the best simulation game, but certainly the one with a unique vibe.

Not only does Two Point Studios manage to successfully build upon everything Two Point Hospital did right, with Two Point Campus it's added a whole new level of learning and given its flavour of sim game a more intimate aspect to management that's endearingly reminiscent of The Sims.

Two Point Campus might not reinvent the wheel, but this is a game that knows exactly what it is and who its audience is – and it nails it.

Despite seeming similar to Two Point Hospital on the surface, Two Point Campus is stuffed with enough new ideas and irresistible charm to ensure it is a sequel well worth playing.

Two Point Campus is a decent follow up to the Hospital version, and it could have been a great hit if not for some minor gameplay shortcomings.

The controls and UI are still solid, even if their application in Two Point Hospital was a bit better. At the end of school year, simulation lovers are sure to enjoy their time as either a crusty old dean or every student's best friend. Just remember to hit the books, study hard, and hire enough janitors to clean up after random meteor showers.

Two Point Campus plays it safe and offers a different take on the familiar formula of its predecessor. It's a well-designed management game that has enough charm and content to draw you in, but staying engaged in the long run can be a challenge.

Two Point Campus offers a rewarding and rich experience. It's hard to find faults here without nitpicking negligible things like the odd repetition of a tannoy voice line, meaning that Two Point Campus really is the top of the class.

If you enjoyed Two Point Hospital on Xbox Game Pass, you're going to love Two Point Campus as well. It's a great sequel in a superb simulation series, and the college/university setting feels like the perfect next step for Two Point Studios' brand of silly, strategic fun. It's also one of the most enjoyable Xbox simulation games out there thanks to its well-designed control scheme, complete with a single-player campaign you'll almost certainly get invested in.So, does it pass the test...? Absolutely!
