Starship Troopers - Terran Command Reviews
Starship Troopers: Terran Command is exactly what you’d expect. It’s all about decimating bugs with fire and explosions, you can even use mechs! As someone who played all Command & Conquer games I can say with confidence that Terran Command looks promising, and is worth picking up.
Overall, Starship Troopers: Terran Command showcases a lot of love for the films. While the repetitive mission objectives can be a complete turn-off, this flaw is overshadowed by the unique scenarios, great level of detail, amazing audio design, and the ultimate fan service. It’s a solid Starship Troopers game.
Starship Troopers: Terran Command is a damn fine landing on the strategy genre planet.

Starship Troopers - Terran Command Terran Command is impressively faithful to its classic '90s sci-fi source material and a solid space adventure in its own right.
Any fan of the film, as long as he is of course also a lover of RTS, will see his expectations met. Starship Troopers: Terran Command arrives in our digital libraries without disappointing us, proposing a strategic adventure that brings back to life and transposes rather faithfully, in terms of atmosphere and game mechanics, what was seen in the film product of the late 90s.

Perfectly encapsulating the Paul Verhoven film, Starship Troopers: Terran Command strikes the right balance of cheesy and challenging, at least in the latter missions. While it doesn't have multiplayer or a scenario editor, the single player is a blast. We'll fight, and we'll win, I just wish my troopers weren't so dumb while we do it. Oh well, more meat for the grinder.
A very nice depiction of the imaginary war torn reality created by Heinlein. A feisty strategy game that isn't afraid to try new things. It's not perfect, perhaps, but for the price it's a very good package.

Starship Troopers: Terran Command doesn't reinvite the RTS genre, but it's so steeped in its fantastic source material and great gameplay elements that it manages to be one of the best games to release in years.
Starship Troopers: Terran Command is a great real-time strategy game that has you leading your troops to victory against the arachnid alien forces trying to take over the galaxy. The multiple difficulty settings make it accessible to anyone who wants to destroy bugs!
Starship Troopers: Terran Command tries to stay as original to the source material as possible, but that proves to be a hurdle when it comes to experimentation with game mechanics. It seems like very basic point-and-click tactics more than an actual strategy game, since there is little strategy involved in this game other than finding the right unit combinations to counter enemies and using unit abilities at the right time. This is one “real-time strategy game” I’d recommend people to stay away from – there are tons of better real-time strategy games to try out.
A solid, slightly chaotic RTS that nails some satisfying tactical stand up bugfights, but could use a little more bite
