WWE 2K23 Reviews
WWE 2K23 is a solid wrestling title, but once you realize that most of the content is taken over from the previous entry in the series and the new game doesn't even fix the issues that were present previously, it feels like a missed opportunity.

WWE 2K23 marks the return of the series to the annual format. Although this delivery was better than the previous year's, there was scope for more significant improvements with extra development time. The new formula is solid, as the previous game had already proved. But for those who acquired WWE 2K22, this year's proposal may not have enough arguments to justify the price of a new game. There are small improvements here and there. The Tag Teams fight together in the Royal Rumble, which makes sense. War Games mode was included. But overall, it feels more like an update and not something new. It's a problem that cuts across all the annual games.

This is possibly the best game in the series in the last 15 years and it would not be surprising if many people hailed it as the best ever. The improved and faster gameplay, the cast of characters that despite having some missing, still manages to exceed 240 men and women fighters and all the beauty of the game from its menus to the character entries leaves anyone delighted with what is to see on television. Anyone who played the previous one, liked it and manages to buy this is a must-have game to put on your shelf.

When all is said and done, WWE 2K23 is an incredibly feature-rich, highly customisable, and thoroughly enjoyable time for fans and non-fans alike.
WWE 2K23 is all about improvement and refinement with this year's entry. While it doesn't bring a lot new with it to the table, there is still a lot to like with this follow-up.
Yeah, there are little hiccups, but they’re minuscule and fixable with a quick patch. The WWE franchise has entered a hot streak, with 2K23 being a considerable step forward to recapturing the glory the series once held.
After taking a year off to refine the formula, WWE 2K23 is back with a bang. Graphically impressive, filled to bursting with wrestlers and content, it’s a fitting continuation for long-time fans. It’s just that little bit too overwhelming for lapsed fans that are coming in fresh, but it does at least try to accommodate.
WWE 2K23 enriches its content to deliver the best possible WWE experience to pro wrestling fans.

WWE 2K23 is a title that entertains exactly like the TV program from which it is taken. Its gameplay is simple and well-structured, with some interesting twists. However, it has its problems such as annoying bugs and underperforming servers.

WWE 2K23 is a wrestling game for everyone. With enough modes and the possibility to play as a pro as a button masher, fun is guaranteed. Both the connoisseur and someone who wants to fight over the top will enjoy this. Graphically it has its imperfections, but it is another step ahead of its predecessor.

WWE 2K23 offers a vast roster and abundant content, making it one of the best wrestling games in the past decade, despite minor animation issues and suboptimal online performance.
John Cena's catchphrase ["Hustle, Loyalty, Respect"] is the most adequate summary of WWE 2K23. Even with a structure similar to the previous game, it's easy to notice all the work to make the game more faithful to realism, putting it at an attractive level to people entering the ring for the first time and an addicting one to those defending their title.

Overall, I love this game and – apart from Wargames – I can see myself playing this for hours upon hours without getting bored of it. The days of button-bashing your way through a WWE game are definitely over.
WWE 2K23 is most definitely a redeeming title for this franchise most thought would be dead and buried. With some DLC on the way featuring some fan-favourite superstars with their own move sets and entrances. As always with games and multiple DLC there is a Season Pass available which will help to save a few £’s in the long run.
WWE 2k23 has been able to collect all the good things that had been implemented in the previous installment and has served to take a small step forward, making it the best wrestling game on the market. It is clear that if you are a fan of this saga, you cannot miss it.

WWE 2K3 picks up from the base thrown in last year without disrupting anything, but going on to improve several details. The John Cena-dedicated Showcase mode is interesting and varied, just as the two new My Rise stories come with more narrative care. MyGM and MyUniverse are perfect for simulation fans, while MyFaction brings FUT-style online competition for the first time. Too bad just for the dated technical compartment, but it still remains a must-have title for wrestling fans.

Instead of bringing a huge innovation to the series with WWE 2K23, 2K preferred to present what it has by polishing and improving it.

It's very clear to see that WWE 2K23 comes from a team that's rediscovered something within itself. Like a comeback victory, the road has been paved with crushing lows, but WWE 2K23 is the closest the company has come to a Hall of Famer in years.
WWE 2K22 was a step in the right direction, and WWE 2K23 is certainly a continuation of that. The various modes this year have been made more replayable, which should be a welcome sight for hardcore fans. Despite the frustration of having to deal with controller settings, I still had a blast playing as my favorite WWE wrestler and duking it out in the ring. The numerous tweaks to make the other modes more fun are also appreciated, and there’s really enough here that makes it more than just a lazy yearly installment.
