This is it, folks. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is Nintendo's Magnum Opus. It's not only the best Zelda game ever created, it's also one of the very best videogames in the history of the art. Games like this are so rare that it would be impossible to classify it as anything other than a masterpiece. Experience it at all costs.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild isn't just good, it's the best launch title I've ever played. It will single-handedly validate the purchase of the Switch for many people, and given the device's $299 price tag that's a huge accomplishment.
If there's a better game out there than Breath of the Wild, I haven't played it. Nintendo has created, for me, the greatest game of all time. It's everything I want from a game and one of the most rewarding experiences I've ever had.
Zelda manages to change its core mechanics brilliantly with a well thought-out gameplay that undusts the saga while opening the door to newcomers. Its colorful universe and atypical characters are the foundation of a magical experience, and it bewitched us before we realised it. Wandering the land of Hyrule quickly becomes an obsession at any time of the day. It's just a pity that the title is handicaped by the technical shortcomings of the Switch and that the size of the Joy-Cons cause a few hiccups here and there. For those who'll choose to live the adventure in handheld mode, this episode is a must-have on the console and shows that sometimes, only one title is needed to redeem a whole lineup.

Breath of the Wild is the same Zelda from 30 years ago, returning triumphantly to change video games forever. Your Hyrule is the most vivid and best designed open world we've ever explored, and conveys a sense of adventure that we haven't felt for too long. And while I don’t know if I ever felt like a genius while playing Breath of the Wild, I did feel like I was 11 years old and unlocking the magical secrets of Zelda all over again.
It's up to you to explore this game world, to solve countless puzzles and save Hyrule from a possible downfall. In what order you do that you know for yourself, because freedom is central to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The gameplay reminds us of what makes a game so good, and combines this with the charm of one of the most acclaimed and beloved game series of all time.

Having played numerous RPGs over many years, it's tough to think of one that is as spellbinding and so moreish as this. A modern day marvel on the Nintendo Switch, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is simply stunning.
