Agatha Christie - Murder on the Orient Express Reviews
If you are a lover of graphic adventures and of course the great Agatha Christie, this is a title that you should not miss. The adaptation to our times and the additions to the original story are really interesting and bring a fresh air to the game. However, if you are a fan of action games, perhaps it is not the time to join the saga yet and wait for a next evolution with some new, more challenging mechanics.

At the end of the day, Agatha Christie – Murder on the Orient Express shows one of the world’s greatest authors’ stories at the height of her powers. The carefully interwoven plot, the characters’ well-thought motives, and the renewed presentation of it all by the time you solve the case will undoubtedly delight any mystery-loving follower.
Agatha Christie - Murder on the Orient Express has an excellent mystery to be solved. The story is quirky and fun, with many gameplay elements that support this. There are some bits that need a little polish and some moments that bring any momentum to a grinding halt. There is enough fun between these moments to justify playing the game in its full and collecting all the golden moustaches is definitely an added bonus to this charming little mystery thriller.
Agatha Christie – Murder on the Orient Express retells the classic adventure in a surprisingly compelling way through two very different protagonists, an eclectic cast of suspects, and a wide range of puzzles that pay homage to the original while blending in modern concepts. Sound issues, regular backtracking, and random shifts in difficulty spikes might be a bit off-putting to some players but the decent writing, acting, and use of mind-mapping to sift through your adventure will keep you invested to the end.
Murder on the Orient Express masterfully combines tradition and innovation to deliver an unforgettable gaming experience, paying homage to the brilliance of Agatha Christie’s storytelling while offering a fresh and engaging take on a classic tale. With its thrilling investigation, well-executed plot twists, and a captivating new character, this game is a must-play for anyone who appreciates the art of a well-crafted mystery.
Having played the previous Hercule Poirot games, including the ancient ones, I can tell you that this one, Agatha Christie – Murder on the Orient Express, is by far my favourite. With the weather turning cold, staying home with tea, books, and video games seems like a natural conclusion, and what better way to start the season than with Agatha Christie – Murder on the Orient Express. I can only hope that Microids gives us a sequel.
