Tales of Arise: Beyond The Dawn Reviews
Tales of Arise - Beyond the Dawn fulfills its mission as an expansion, bringing new missions, challenging opponents and more of what made the base game one of the best and most fun JRPGs released in recent years. Without fear of touching on delicate themes such as prejudice and family abandonment, or showing that not every ending is as happy as it seems, this DLC is a great opportunity for both veterans and newcomers to visit this universe and enjoy its good visuals, great combat system and fun progression.

Tales of Arise: Beyond The Dawn plays it safe, extending its universe for devoted fans without breaking new ground. While it commendably develops characters and retains an engaging combat system, the expansion stretches a thin narrative over an extensive playtime, potentially leaving those craving a richer story unsatisfied.
In conclusion, Tales of Arise Beyond The Dawn is more than a mere expansion; it’s a rekindling of emotions and a rediscovery of a beloved franchise. The narrative, though brief, carries a weight that lingers, and the additional content satisfies the hunger for more Tales Of Arise.
If you're itching for more potential Dohalim x Kisara ship material and a jaunt into Tales of Arise' combat all over again in a "new" setting, you can't go wrong with this decent-sized expansion that at least learned some lessons from overblown and too-long-for-their-own-good Tales Of sequels. In fact, if you want a solid Tales Of Arise experience, get the base game and expansion for a fun JRPG time. Otherwise, it's not required viewing unless the price goes down.
Beyond the Dawn is a great time for those wanting more Tales of Arise, and the same great gameplay systems are all there, but it feels like a missed opportunity to expand upon what was an already great game given the time between release and DLC.
Beyond the Dawn expands the story of Tales of Arise by 20 hours, which are effectively intertwined with the main game. Ideal for fans who don't expect any dye gameplay innovations.
