Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition Reviews
Not many games in recent years have come up with something as thrilling as taking on massive robot monsters like you find here, and it’s a mark of how well it’s done in Forbidden West that every time you see one of those familiar flashes, you’ll feel your adrenaline start pumping as you draw your bow and arrow and take aim.
Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition is another great port from Sony and another success from the PlayStation PC initiative. With a vast amount of adjustable graphics options, support for high frame rates and remarkable scalability, the sequel to Aloy's adventure impresses and establishes itself not only as one of the most beautiful games of all time, but also as an adventure recommended for everyone enthusiasts of a good adventure in a fascinating open world. Considering the quality of the adaptation, I can say: this is not only the complete edition as advertised, but the definitive one. Patience, in this case, was rewarded.

The core game is extremely well made and improves so much over the original game. Where Forbidden West is lacking, the Burning Shores DLC makes up for to give the game that fire that was needed. While this game doesn’t recapture the same mystery or have the same revelations as Horizon Zero Dawn , Horizon Forbidden West has a compelling narrative that takes you to new places in its world you have to see for yourself. I stand by the fact that Sony’s games are better on PC with all the additional bells and wheels, and this is yet another shining example, because Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition is easily one of the best ports and open worlds around.
The return of Aloy, with the release of Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition PC by Nixxes Software, offers a satisfactory port in relation to its predecessor.

The PC version of Horizon Forbidden West is positively beautiful!
Nixxes Software has taken a massive leap forward in PC porting compared to some PlayStation PC ports released over the years. This game has set a new standard for PC ports, abundant in graphical and performance options, and improvements to the original. Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition retains the spirit of the PlayStation version and brings an already incredible game to a broader audience on PC; its incredible visuals, exciting gameplay, and technical marvel make it a perfect must-play for fans of story-rich action-adventure games.
A stellar sequel to an already amazing game that expands on the story and the gameplay, with one of the most finely-tuned PC ports in the last decade. A genuine treat when it comes to replay value and visuals.
This is quite easily one of the most gorgeous open worlds you’ll explore in a modern video game. With a stellar set of graphical customisation options and admirable performance on rigs that meet the recommended requirements, there’s currently no better place to experience Aloy’s journey.
We can only reaffirm the great work that Nixxes has done to provide an experience as similar as possible to its PS4 and PS5 version for those who decide to opt for the PC. You have the perfect excuse to get the game and be able to enjoy it in exceptional conditions if you have not had access to the title before, both for those who can squeeze out their equipment, without forgetting those less powerful systems to offer them a great experience. If you liked the first one and you hadn't been able to play this second installment, you can't miss it. It will give you hours of entertainment, which you will undoubtedly enjoy, becoming essential in your library.

Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition has offered us the definitive refinement of the classic open world formula of its first installment. Nixxes Software has carried out a very good conversion of the Guerrilla Games game to PC with the latest technologies of the moment and support for ultra-wide screens, although at the cost of ray tracing. Despite this, this is a very good open world game that also easily ranks as one of the most visually attractive computer games.
