RPG Maker WITH Reviews
RPG Maker With is a good conversion of the famous console RPG maker, with too many simplifications... and also too many difficulties. Even though you have already had a lot to do with RPG Maker, you will find yourself bewildered in many elements of the creation tool, trivially to join maps or create enemies and equipment. Little attention is paid to the accessibility of each user, unfortunately.

With few innovations and no Portuguese localization, RPG Maker WITH seems like an overly timid evolution of what we saw in the previous version. That said, it is undeniably solid and relatively accessible for an audience that is not an expert in game creation, even with an interface that demands patience from those who use it with a conventional console controller.

Without a doubt getting the most out of RPG Maker WITH requires a substantial time commitment, and there’s no point to buying the software just to play other people’s games – you can download the demo for that. If, however, you’ve ever had the creative itch to play with this wonderful genre, then the tools couldn’t be easier and you don’t need to know a line of code. Get out there and get creating!
While I will always advocate playing the PC versions of RPG Maker due to being more user friendly and allowing you to import your own resources as console limits this, I would say if you wanted to give making your own RPG on console a go, I would opt for RPG Maker MV over RPG Maker WITH as it feels closer to a PC Maker and is more user friendly but on console that is a hardly a great statement to stand by.
RPG MAKER WITH is an extremely competent and solid game, but the experience will depend more on the player due to its overall nature. In a sense, you can make whatever game you want, but it will require time and effort that might be daunting for a novice.

RPG Maker WITH is a very limited version of a useful game making tool. Even though it manages to offer an intuitive experience on Switch, the limitations are too big to create something more original. It'd be better to invest in one of the PC editions if you want to really get into game development.
