Between the much-improved combat, the more in-depth and engaging storytelling, the interesting overworld, and plenty of replayability, Dynasty Warriors: Origins doesn’t feel like just the franchise’s next entry, but a magnificent reboot that breathes new life into the series. And that is before you even dive into the higher difficulties and enjoy the postgame content. While the outsider perspective of the Wanderer and his relative lack of emotions take some getting used to, everyone else is at the peak of their powers, and the result is a fantastic game made for newcomers and a glorious benchmark for veterans to measure upcoming games against.
Dynasty Warriors: Origins succeeds in an almost impossible mission: unhinging the most entrenched beliefs and paradigms related to the musou genre, while not disavowing its fundamental and defining characteristics. Omega Force's signature relaunch of the saga combines the best of the saga with modern insights that finally make the experience more varied, fresh and tantalizing. Some sacrifices and compromises might turn the noses of fans of the series, however, while those who have never experienced the appeal of such a unique genre will not necessarily be charmed by the novelties. In any case, Origins represents the highest point reached by the saga as well as a new beginning that could bring enormous satisfaction even to those who have never approached the battles of the Three Kingdoms.

I loved every moment of Dynasty Warriors: Origins and it’s an amazing return to form for the franchise that defines a genre and I can’t recommend it enough, I’d wholly recommend taking charge go the battle field and indulging in the romance of the three kingdoms in the best way Omega Force and Koei Tecmo know how, unrelenting 1 vs 1000 action.
Dynasty Warrior Origins is ideal for fans of the Musou subgenre, with a simple and direct action, although for me, I'm used to deeper gameplay and I found it somewhat repetitive and bland. That said, if you like to cause chaos with mass commbos, with hundreds of enemies on screen could be your game.

With the variety of weapons, skills and many hours of gameplay I would say this is great value for money and a great game to relieve some stress with.
