Dynasty Warriors: Origins Reviews
While it is missing some features, DYNASTY WARRIORS ORIGINS is a fun time and a great place to hop in for newcomers!
Although Sun Tzu said, "The greatest victory is that which requires no battle." the man never played Dynasty Warriors. Origins has practically written an epic about fighting like a hero in the heart of battle and winning the war through combat.

Dynasty Warriors: Origin offers thrilling gameplay, wild combos, and massive-scale battles that define the series. However, the game's incomplete story is a noticeable blemish. It feels as though a significant chapter is missing, leaving players with unanswered questions and a sense of dissatisfaction. Despite this narrative flaw, the core combat loop remains incredibly engaging.

Despite a weak original story, Dynasty Warriors: Origins still manages to breath new life into the franchise. The main battles are better than ever, and I love the idea of giving more time to parts of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms that Dynasty Warriors usually glossed over. Origins is a good base for future entries, and hopefully the start of a strong return for mainline Warriors games.
Dynasty Warriors: Origins is a return to the essence of the franchise, reinforcing its elements that captivate fans. With exceptional gameplay, visual improvements and a new focus on narrative, the title not only puts the series back on track, but delivers one of its best games to date.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins was merely supposed to be another game in the series that many would probably just hear about. But this series has now shattered all expectations, much like the thousands of soldiers it vanquishes at the hands of its gamers, and has charted the future of the subgenre it created. With its captivating and branching storytelling, delightful gameplay, and artistic visuals, Dynasty Warriors: Origins is recommended to all action genre fans.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins is a super entertaining experience that let you unleash madness on the battlefield. That being said some issues, like repetitive side content are noticable. Nonetheless, if you're a fan of Dynasty Series, you're going to have a blast playing Dynasty Warriors Origins

A great way to reboot the long-running series
As a fan of the Dynasty Warrriors series since the PlayStation 2 era, I can confidently say that Dynasty Warriors Origins is the best mainline game in the series. Needless to say, I eagerly anticipate the release of a new Dynasty Warriors: Xtreme Legends.
Overall, Dynasty Warriors Origins is a big, explosive, and massively entertaining action game, and true to its title, a conscious effort by Koei Tecmo to get back to the qualities that so many people have enjoyed from the series over the years.
Omega Force has shown that it can still make good musou games that are not licensed or commissioned by someone else. The soft (and probably temporary) reboot of the series did exceptionally well.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins is a solid addition to the franchise. It's not the newest numbered game in the series, but I enjoyed it more than Dynasty Warriors 9. It has a solid core set of mechanics and some really excellent level design. The only thing holding it back is that the focus on a single character and a relatively smaller number of weapons makes it feel empty compared to the games it will likely be compared to. If you're a fan of the franchise, there is a lot to like in Origins, and it's the ideal starting point for newcomers who want to get into the Romance of the Three Kingdoms part of the Warriors franchise.
Dynasty Warriors: Origins is a strong comeback for the famous Musou franchise, it paved it's way towards a better future for the Warriors games but it didn't reach peak just yet with few missteps here and there

Dynasty Warriors: Origins overall is an excellent game to have. This rebooted version of the series gives me hope that Koei Tecmo has improved in terms of development and deliverance of what fans want on next-gen consoles. Despite the repetitiveness of missions, this game is truly worth getting and I believe that this will open a whole new challenge for the next musou games in the future.
One of the best musou on the market, fun despite some structural flaws and some shortcomings.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins is a supremely fun one-on-many fighting experience with familiar grand scale battles combining with freshly challenging elements that can really put your skills and reflexes to the test and it works wonderfully on Nintendo Switch 2. 🐎

While I was a little skeptical of the new direction for Dynasty Warriors: Origins at first, I found myself thoroughly impressed after diving in. The more complex take on hack-and-slash combat kept me playing this for hours at a time, and the plot and character moments kept me gripped, even as someone familiar with the series and various takes on the story it’s based on.
Is Dynasty Warriors: Origins the pinnacle of the Musou games? In a lot of ways, it is. However, I think it comes down to whether you prefer the crossover games, where emphasis is certainly on story (especially with the Zelda Musou games), or you want a super-charged Musou experience that maximises the core of what these games are.
Dynasty Warriors Origins delivered a compelling leap forward in gameplay, with a vibrant world of battles and a massive horde of enemies. Thanks to improved graphics, solid technical performance, and a compelling narrative punctuated by engaging dialogue and tangible twists, the game successfully reignited the series' appeal. However, the absence of free-roaming or cooperative modes remains a weakness that may disappoint players accustomed to the series' renowned variety of gameplay styles.
