Clock Tower: Rewind Reviews
Clock Tower: Rewind isn't for those seeking modern, fast-paced horror. It's a gem for those who love classic charm. WayForward's dedication shines through in this re-release, preserving the game's vintage soul for a new generation. Recommended for fans of point-and-click adventures who appreciate the nostalgic challenge.

Clock Tower: Rewind is the opportunity we have all been waiting for to play this gem from the brain of the beast that refused to leave the country of the Rising Sun. As if it were an extended version, it has several extras that are the icing on the perfect cake for fans of the series.

Clock Tower: Rewind brings back a very important classic in the survival horror genre and adds interesting resources that enrich the general experience and the universe building. Despite the controls not being so intuitive, confusing the player sometimes, and the missed opportunity to include even more accessibility options, which would have made the game more inviting, this is a work worth checking out for any horror fan.

If you're interested in the history of the survival horror genre, this is an absolute must-play for you. If you're looking for a new survival horror game to play, then just be aware that this is an old game and feels accordingly. That doesn't have to be a bad thing, but I fear for many it will be.
If you're a fan of the horror and survival genre, this game is a real treat, with relentless chases and an enemy as cruel as Pyramid Head himself. In addition, the game has 8 different endings, which considerably increases the game's lifespan, and a wide range of extra content that is really good, such as the interviews with the director, which I really enjoyed.

A fantastic piece of horror game and video game history, with crisp visuals and smooth gameplay. Clock Tower: Rewind is a treat to experience, even though its old-timey inconveniences may make it hard for those used to how modern games handle.
Clock Tower undoubtedly deserves its place among the legends of video games, and we highly recommend that anyone even vaguely interested experience this old gem firsthand. While the port could have perhaps offered more after so many years since the initial release, when an artistic direction and gameplay concept are flawless, it's hard to improve without compromising the original. Rewind now provides the first official way to get lost in the corridors of the Barrows mansion.

Despite shortcomings, Clock Tower: Rewind is the definitive way to play this deeply important horror game.
Clock Tower: Rewind features some QoL features but is mostly the same game it was in 1995. That is far from a bad thing however thanks to how atmospheric and tense it is throughout multiple runs.
Reviewing Clock Tower: Rewind was a mixed bag because, on one hand, I get it. I understand the importance of Clock Tower, and the impact that game had on survival horror as a whole. As a piece of gaming history, finally archived and widely available on the West, this is a fantastic release. The added interviews, cartoon animations and soundtrack are a neat bonus. But as a game, this has aged incredibly poorly.
