SUPERHOT Reviews
Switch tax is a bit of a kick in the teeth for this one considering prices elsewhere and the lack of Labo VR support is a little disappointing, but this might just be the best place to play Superhot where a VR headset isn’t involved.
The Polish title SUPERHOT is a clear proof that even a simple idea can produce an excellent game that brings something new to the FPS genre. If you like innovative games, you should include SUPERHOT in your game library. It's an unusual experience that captivates you and won't let go.

One of the most innovative shooters in years is now one of the most innovative shooters on the Switch.
SUPERHOT is one of the most interesting gaming fusions of the decade, and it’s been pulled off spectacularly. It leaves you wanting more, which is exactly what it should do. On Switch, its bite-sized action set-piece puzzles have found their most natural home.
SUPERHOT is an atypical shooter, almost touching the strategy and the puzzle. Time only advances if we move and that will create the situations where we will be involved in more than 30 levels, to kill all the enemies, as if it were an action movie. Fresh and original, but short and not very replayable, even so, the balance is tilted clearly next to SUPERHOT. Highly recommended.

Superhot is an interesting game. The time-bending gameplay doesn't evolve much the story was a rollercoaster ride of obscure information and unnerving situations. For a game where I spent most of the time killing Red Avatars Superhot is a surprisingly clever and thought-provoking FPS experience.
Playing Superhot is probably the closest I'll ever come to feeling like James Bond.
A unique shooter that provides a different style from anything you ever experienced. It's addictive and very fun.

Superhot is a welcome surprise for 2016. As one of the more unique FPS games out there, its style will keep you hooked for its duration. It might not have the legs or depth of its competition, but it makes up for that in terms of sheer style.
Superhot relies heavily on its gameplay, which just happens to be the only part of the experience that is engaging. The rest is a bit uninspired, but if you don't need impressive visuals or a deep narrative, Superhot earns a recommendation.
With 32 initial levels, 12 challenges, and plenty of opportunity to unlock further maps on Endless mode, the game doesn't just end when you've completed the story
There is no shooter quite as willing to prostrate itself before its audience as SUPERHOT while always reminding them that, no matter how tough the game may make them feel, that same sensation can be stolen from them in a heartbeat.
Playing SUPERHOT is fun even when I constantly fail because I know the game is now cheating in any way and that next time I have a chance to be more stylish, better prepared, smarter and faster to reach a new high score in Endless Mode or deal with another of the challenges.
What the Superhot Team strived to bring us is something different and by almost all accounts they succeeded. This shooter feels unlike anything I've played before and I do wish more games will follow in this example.
'SUPERHOT' is a very accessible arcade game with highly repeatable shooting shenanigans. I can't quite decide if the storyline is trying to be edgy or funny, but it doesn't really work on either level. Thankfully, much of it can be safely ignored in favor of the awesome physics-based gunplay.
There are many words that could be used to describe SUPERHOT. Cool, addictive, stylish, fun, enjoyable…take your pick. What the development team have done is take a game mechanic that sounds like an excellent idea on paper and turned it into something special by fleshing out a game around it that does it justice and then layering on different ways of playing in the post-game. It flat out tells you to say this but we'd be saying it anyway: SUPERHOT is one of the most innovative shooters that we've played in years. Absolutely essential.
I can remember more than one occasion when I literally yelled out loud after I threw my gun into an opponent's face, grabbed his rifle out of midair and shot him with it. It's a game that doesn't need excessive achievements, unlocks, or leveling up, because playing the game well is so much more rewarding than any creeping XP bar could ever be.
I recommend this game to anybody who's looking for a completely new style of playing. Even though it suffers from minor lag and a short story, there is definitely more good than bad here.Excellent: SuperHot is packed full of action without any down moments. The mix of exhilarating gameplay and stunning graphics unite to make one of the most unique games on the market so far in 2016.
SUPERHOT on Xbox One is everything that was good about SUPERHOT on PC
