These robots have heart, but not depth

Instead of a real game, Job Simulator is a collection of interactive three-dimensional spaces, probably designed to represent a "first contact" with the world of virtual reality.

Despite some funny moments, Job Simulator doesn’t offer enough depth or variety to be satisfying

Job Simulator is not best played on PSVR, but Owlchemy Labs still did an incredible job translating the game to PS4.

Job Simulator is a little on the expensive side for a game that doesn't offer a great deal of long-term challenge, but it's a great purchase for those new to VR or who want a fun and funny game to use to introduce VR to their friends or family.

Genuinely amusing and one of the slickest VR experiences to date, Job Simulator is perfect for quick demos of your new headset, but has little long-term value beyond that.

A great introduction to VR in a fun and polished, though relatively short experience. If you're looking for a high quality game to showcase VR then you can't go wrong with Job Simulator.

I really enjoyed Job Simulator and I wish it was longer so I could enjoy it even more. I liked that it was simple yet challenging enough so it didn’t get boring. This is a great kid friendly game that is also fun for adults. Job Simulator is by far my favorite VR game out right now.

Job Simulator is not a long experience, but I found it to be incredible fun messing around in the four different environments. I would recommend the game as one of the best games to showcase the PSVR hardware to friends and family. It’s highly accessible for all times of players, and I have yet to hear anyone not enjoy themselves in the world that Owlchemy Labs has created.

Of course, if you’re new to PSVR2, then this is pretty much essential: it’s not only an easy-going introduction into the world of virtual reality, but it’s also a hilarious game that executes on its ideas flawlessly.

A brief delight with satisfying gameplay and irreverent charm, Job Simulator is an early standout on PlayStation VR.

When you create sandbox worlds, it’s very easy to leave the player to “make their own fun”, but here the mixture of intuitive controls, player agency, and tongue-in-cheek humor makes Job Simulator a must-have. While it’s a little on the short side, Job Simulator is the easiest VR title to recommend. If you have a VR headset, this game needs to be in your library.

When I was finished with Job Simulator I was fully satisfied with my experience. It’s one of the best games on PlayStation VR right now. While I was sad to see it end I loved every second of it and never was bored. It’s easily one of the more funnier games I’ve played as well. Owlchemy Labs is onto something special early in the PlayStation VR lifecycle and I’m excited to see how they can take this and build upon it.

I’m not the sort of person to throw cold drinks at small children, and I don’t imagine you are either. I would never see how many parts of someone’s car I could remove before sending them on their way or photocopy my bum in the real world, but here you have it; a game that finally gives you the chance to do all this and more without serious repercussions. Aside from all the silliness there is indeed a great game here too; I’d wager if you had an attention span better than most of the NGB writers you could spend hours doing the tasks as they were meant to be performed and enjoy it enormously. But VR is about offering new ways to play, and new opportunities and possibilities to the player. And Job Simulator is a bright, cheerful and great way to remind us all of that.

Job Simulator manages to make the most inane tasks fun with satisfying gameplay and witty dialogue. It's easily one of the highlights of PlayStation VR's launch and should be played by every owner who has the space to do so.

Job Simulator is as garbage as its name would suggest. Ostensibly yet another inane joke "simulator" game, it tasks you with performing dreary tasks like cooking soup or stamping résumés while wry robots (again) crack wise. The difference here is the robots are actually pretty funny.

It’s delightful, but it’s delightful for about 90 minutes – with the very important exception that you might very well bust it out every time someone new comes around your house.

It’s fantastically silly, but as with many of these “simulator” games, it’s a concept that can wear thin after a while. It’s a well rounded game that’s definitely worth playing, and perfect for showing VR to people, but that’ll be the main reason why you load it up after having played it for an hour or two.

Job Simulator is about taking remedial tasks, giving players ridiculous tools and letting them goof off. It's wonderful.
