Adam's Venture: Origins Reviews
Adam's Venture: Origins is among the worst games we've ever played and it doesn't even have the decency to be awful in an amusing way. There are so, so many great games you can buy for the same kind of price. Please buy them instead. Or just throw the money into a river and watch it disappear; even that experience would be more rewarding than playing this turgid mess of a video game. Technically, narratively and mechanically inept, Adam's Venture: Origins on Switch is disgraceful.
Adam’s Venture: Origins isn’t the best adventure game on the market, and the irritating protagonist will put many off, however, the puzzles are captivating enough to hold your attention for a respectable amount of time.
Adam Venture is a good attempt at an exploration puzzle game. Although it isn't perfect, there is a lot to like within the game. Whether this can be improved in the future is yet to be seen, but for now there is enough to enjoy, although maybe not for the price tag on release.
Adam's Venture: Origins is an harmless adventure; more than a bad game, it's a very bad remake.

Holy Archaeology... again.
Adam's Quest Origins is a bad adventure game and a barely good puzzle game. The environments looks good to watch but tearing everywhere and a lot of others technical problem make it not very good to play.

I have enjoyed playing the game from start to finish for my Adam’s Venture: Origins. It was even better when my new and shinny Platinum trophy popped up! This is a very enjoyable game for all puzzle fans, so hopefully you have a good time playing it!
Ultimately Adam’s Venture Origins is an okay title. It’s not excessively bad, and it’s not excessively good, and I’d almost say that’s worse than being either.
For a $49.99 game, it does not deliver. A short underwhelming story with no replay-ability and forgettable characters will leave you wishing you'd spent that money elsewhere. My advice: wait until the price drops if you are considering getting it.
While capable of some good looking vistas thanks to the Unity Engine 5, the unfortunate truth is that Adam’s Venture: Origins is an awful game, let alone a series reboot. Other than a few of the logic puzzles, the lack of quality in most areas makes it an unenjoyable adventure game that I honestly cannot recommend to anyone, even genre fans.
Adam's Venture: Origins is the best example of an mediocre adventure game, which has one big issue and that's the technical part of the game. It's shame, because otherwise Adam's Venture is an interesting story full of various puzzles. If you like Indiana Jones and the adventure genre, then you can experience a decent story, but don't expect anything innovative.

Adam’s Venture Origins is a game that fails to have restraint with it's constant puzzles. Although, a fair amount of these puzzles are actually decent and engages the player fairly well. Adam also has a humorous personality at times, but the overwhelming amount of poorly written dialogue and forgettable voice acting makes an annoying combination. At the point in time where decent graphics for a game like this is imperative it fails on that goal with ease. This is a game that is boring and forgettable, that is annoying and really has many problems that need to addressed if there is going to be another addition to this series.
I truly wanted to like this game. I was really excited to play it. I very much enjoy these kinds of games. However, what we get here, is just a mess. About a third of the way through I had to start forcing myself to the end. For every good thing, there were 10 bad ones. An exaggeration, of course, though you understand what I mean.
