The Collider 2 is an excellent game when you just want to pick up and play something for a small amount of time, but investing longer stretches of time can lead to a build up of frustration, as you crash again and again. The unlock style of the mission mode feels restrictive and counters the fast paced nature of the action, with the Survival mode providing a much better alternative. Just be sure to try and use a mouse or VR controls to get the best out of this fun and fast game.

The Collider 2 is a twitchy reaction game that looks gorgeous and is a lot of fun to play.

The Collider 2 is a sci-fi endless runner that tries to stand out thanks to the VR Support, but doesn't have the contents of the quality to keep the player engaged for a long time.

The Collider 2 takes a simple concept and applies an unbelievable sense of speed that makes for an incredibly engaging action experience, and its addictive challenge mode will keep you coming back again and again.

All things considered, Collider 2 is an easy recommendation for those who either love the sprint-runner genre or are simply looking for a great timekiller. The simple pick-up-and-play blends well with the game’s increasing challenges, and the online tournament mode is a great buy-in for the competitive among us.

Collider 2 really isn’t content with provided any surprises—it knows what it is, and for the most part, it does that job well.

Bring your best reflexes and leave your motion sickness at the door as we review The Collider 2, available on PC and VR Headsets: Oculus Rift & HTC Vive. Navigate a high-speed spaceship through the treacherous passages of an alien mothership in a series of mission-based obstacle courses. I just wished someone would have warned me I’d see myself explode more times than there are stars in the sky.

If you enjoy endless runners and fancy yourself taking flight of a ship as a change of pace, or if you’re looking for a VR experience worth your time, The Collider 2 does a good job of providing a fun and addictive game whilst keeping things simple and concise. Get to the end quickly, and do as much as you can on the way. Now do it again, but with more stuff in the way. You’ve most likely played this genre somewhere before, but The Collider 2 has enough going on to make it unique and worth the trouble of buying and giving a try.

Some poor design holds The Collider 2 back from being great, and a surprisingly good looking game. While the number of individual missions is high, the differences between the objectives are negligible - play this game is short bursts. Worth a shot over a weekend.

The Collider 2 is a decently well designed, appropriately priced arcade sequel for speed junkies.

'The Collider 2' just doesn't have enough substance to make it an enjoyable experience. In fact, it even seems like in several ways to be a step back from its predecessor. There's a solid base, though, and with a few tweaks to the progression system it could be a much more enjoyable title.

The Collider 2 is, undoubtedly, superior to its predecessor in all ways, yet those willing to get it should know what it is, and what it isn't. It's a super-fast, reflex-based endless runner that is as simple as it is enjoyable, as well as easy to learn, hard to master, and even harder to stop going back to the fray for "one more try," and yet, it's also disappointingly low in content (even for an indie title), something that severely hurts the replay value, no matter how fun playing this can be at times.

It's easy to recommend The Collider 2 as something that is a lot of fun to play. Whether or not you enjoy tunnel racers, and even if you hadn't heard of the unofficial name for this "genre" until now, it doesn't matter: the game strikes a near-perfect balance between challenge and familiarity that players of all skill levels can learn to appreciated.
