Gran Turismo Sport is a technical masterpiece. It perfectly showcases what the PlayStation 4 is capable of and is one of the most visually stunning racing games I’ve played. As a career racer, sadly it falls short. Although in spite of its online focused design, the game is still full of innovation which makes it all the more sad to see it cut down to such a small roster of tracks and cars.

Gran Turismo Sport tries to be different from previous Gran Turismo games and offer something special. But the focus of game on multiplayer, leads to the lack of content in single player modes and besides that, there isn't enough variety in cars and tracks and this is another problem for Gran Turismo Sport.

Seeing as how even the online modes have weird time limits or aren't fully ready, Gran Turismo Sport is honestly not worth looking into at the moment. Maybe this will mature into a better racing game in the future (much like Driveclub), but you can presently get so much better on PS4 that I'm not sure why GT Sport wasn't delayed to add some more content. The ulta realism isn't enough to justify the cuts done to the core GT gameplay of the past.

In conclusion, Gran Turismo Sport is one of the best GT experiences on any Playstation console, however it does have limited content compared to its competitors such as Project Cars and Forza on the Xbox One. Graphically, it's a thoroughly impressive game, especially with 4K HDR and then you have the option of VR which gives you a very immersive experience but more would have been nice, especially more content for offline. Needless to say, the developers have pushed for online which may  turn some players away but if you're looking for a total online experience, GT Sport definitely delivers on that scale and offers a very simulated racing game from start to finish… just be warned that you need to put in the hours.

In many ways, Gran Turismo Sport feels like a tech demo. Visually, it pushes the bar, with car models that are as good the real thing and environments better than ever before. And the lighting; holy hell, the lighting. It is glorious. In terms of content though, it's lacking.

The Gran Turismo franchise makes its comeback almost four years after its latest entrance with a different attempt for the driving simulator games: VR and an online, esports' focus for the masses. Despite being a great attempt, it just doesn't feel cohesive or complete as any other of its own past games.

Gran Turismo Sport is the most realistic online racing experience at the moment, it is also more geared for esports racing and also includes the ability to achieve a real FIA license, which is quite insane if you think about it. GT Sport provides all the tools to turn players into real racing drivers. There is enough content for driving mastery in the game, but the lack of tracks and the need to always be online is a little irritating, but if you have a solid internet connection then this will be a blast for you. Overall this is an excellent addition to an already amazing Gran Turismo franchise.

Overall Gran Turismo Sport is an awesome game, but, for some, the always online rule is a huge deal-breaker.

GT Sport is the best racing game available on PlayStation 4, but it is also the most controversial chapter in the series, a strange digital experiment that sacrifices singleplayer career on the eve of online challenges and eSports

While Gran Turismo Sport may not be the Gran Turismo some were expecting, it’s still a wholly enthralling racing game that wants to make you become a better driver along the way. The big question has to be whether it was a risk worth taking, to effectively divide its playerbase. For serious racing gamers, Gran Turismo Sport could be the perfect choice, but for those who want the ultimate offline racing experience, Sport may come up short.

Gran Turismo Sport takes a different path from the series but despite some issues and glitches along the way, it's still one of the most important games in the Racing genre. With some more features and a complete single player mode, GT Sport could have easily competed with others, but it still provides a wonderful online experience for those who are looking for exciting races.

Gran Turismo Sport is a troubled game compared both to its rivals and even previous installments of the series. Developers have devoted all their focus on the multiplayer section and as the result, single player is undeniably poor in terms of content. Apart from all these, a short selection of cars and tracks, unrealistic physics and an unpleasant stiff gameplay put Gran Turismo Sport in 3rd place in this year's competition.

Gran Turismo Sport is a great driving game when reviewed in isolation. It’s got great racing, amazing visuals and stunning attention to detail which would make most petrol-heads froth. However, it also falls short when compared to its competition who boast more cars, tracks and just more fun. This ultimately makes GT Sport tough to recommend.

I can't really recommend this game to die hard Gran Turismo fans as they will surely be upset with the enormous downgrade of the content and its online-only direction. But if you're open to something new then Gran Turismo Sport is a really good game which will offer enough content to keep you busy.

Gran Turismo Sport is a pretty complicated affair: a mediocre single player experience, an exhilarating multiplayer title, the last work from Polyphony Digital is the greatest testament to a democratic vision of motorsport, where driving is really for everyone. A temple where players can share and contemplate truly stunning and beutiful images of cars, and drivers can look for the aesthetic perfection of driving. In the middle, a driving model with the same old limits of the previous chapters, and an overall anachronistic feeling.

Gran Turismo Sport looks great, but a lack of content, some dodgy AI, and an always-online requirement see it limp into the pits. Still, how 'bout them interiors?

A brilliantly done driving simulator, but without any serious single-player campaign to go alongside the online timesink.

I'm torn. Huge playability and super multiplayer versus absolute lack of content and incomprehensible ideas. If you are going to play multiplayer and you love to tear down a hundredth of a second in time trials - go ahead and try it. If you love diversity - try Project Cars 2.

GT Sport offers the highest level of a driving simulation in a racing game and teaches you to be a professional driver and thus is a great experience in showing the culture of Motorsports. But think carefully about it. If you want a driving simulation with hundreds of hours of offline campaign and many different cars, there are better options than GT Sport. But if you want a challenge against the best in the business, an experience that matches the aesthetic of worldwide Motorsport racing, GT Sport is the perfect choice for you.
