Gravity Rush 2 Reviews
Despite its open-world growing pains, Gravity Rush 2 is a charming game that's well worth playing, both for its story and its quality action moments. I just feel that it would have been a stronger overall title if it were more streamlined and leaned more on its best qualities rather than shoehorning in activities that don't match with its action-packed, gravity-shifting theme. Still, with a bit of patience for its foibles, I think you'll find that Kat's adventures in this weird world are quite worthwhile.
While the original Gravity Rush pushed the Vita to its limited, Gravity Rush 2 is unleashed upon the far more powerful PlayStation 4, giving us a game that’s as big in scope and substance as the concept designs its world and characters were born from. Among Sony’s efforts to give their console a wide array of more niche experiences, this gravity-controlling Kat is Queen.
Gravity Rush 2 is a worthy follow up to its predecessor, despite some of its most glaring issues. With a gorgeous presentation, amazing music, improved gameplay, and a great lead, if you were a fan of the first Gravity Rush and just so happen to have a PS4, do yourself a favor and pick a copy up.
One of the few open-world action games where I’d rather just zip around collecting crystals.
With over 30 hours of gameplay time, and an intriguing online component, Gravity Rush 2 is a marked improvement over its competent predecessor. 2017 has seen an abundance of great games on the PS4. Gravity Rush 2 joins the roster of Nioh and Yakuza 0 as stellar exclusives for Sony, and is well worth picking up, whether you've played the first game or not.
The Artistic and colorful world of Gravity Rush 2 only attracts people who are patient and willing to experience anything but one of those empty-handed action games, just like a European movie which you never heard of and it becomes the most awarded movie in Cannes or Venice Film Festivals. Don’t get me wrong, Gravity Rush 2 is not so much of a masterpiece as those movies, but its vivid graphics and innovative gameplay makes you ignore some problems and grant it a second chance.

Despite my grievances Kat and company shine like a shard of glass under the midday sun. The journey will put you on the other side of 40 hours. Minus some turbulence here and there the flight is worth it. Inside this Kat beats the heart of a lion, and though it may not soar, Gravity Rush 2 falls with style.
While it struggles at times, Gravity Rush 2 is every bit as thrilling and creative as its astounding predecessor. Its players will be wowed by the gorgeous visuals, and every second spent traversing is an absolute joy. This game succeeds at keeping the player involved, not just in the spectacle, but also in the minutiae. A talent for darting through city streets without clumsily slamming into walls isn't necessary to complete the story, but it's rewarding in its own way. Kat's odyssey is one well worth undertaking.
Gravity Rush 2 is an excellent game with a well told story and interesting characters. There are a ton of things to do with 27 main missions and more than 40 side quests that are imaginative and well thought. This game surpasses its predecessor by far with a very large world made up of floating islands that is way bigger and more beautiful than you might think. Gameplay is satisfying but not without its flaws. There is no lock-on system so sometimes you end up disorientated mid fight and you’ll mainly use one attack for most of the battles. In spite of this flaws the game is engaging and a lot of fun. You can almost feel the care and attention the developers put into it.

Just like its predecessor, this game will constantly charm you with its worlds and powers; and fill you with joy. The sequel offers improved controls, new moves, a bigger world and additional game modes. It's an excellent experience as you explore its world while manipulating gravity, and progress through its lighthearted story with rich characters, as long as you overlook the occasional control issues and the inconsistent missions.

A unique game in a vibrant world that is able to build on what was already successful in the first installment. It had been developed further in many aspects that present an unforgettable experience regardless of some noticeable camera issues and a few other weak missions.

Gravity Rush 2 expands on the uniquely enjoyable gravity shifting gameplay of the original and features a likeable cast of characters that should satisfy fans, despite a few missteps.
Gravity Rush 2 was made for the original fans of the franchise. If you haven't played the first one yet, we don't recommend playing Gravity Rush 2. Gravity Rush 2 is an astonishing achievement in artistic design. Dropping in frame and the camera are problems of the game.

Gorgeous, exhilarating and with a lot of charm, some niggles can't stop you from embracing Gravity Rush 2's positive vibe and the rush of flight.
Even if you weren’t able to get into the first, give this one a go. The story’s self-contained enough that you’ll still be able to follow along, and in the effort to make the game more accessible to a wider audience, the overall experience is also more refined and there’s clearly a meatier budget backing it.
Gravity Rush 2 is one of those niche releases which, sadly, often remain overlooked by console players. But if you like heartwarming games, Kat's adventures will definitely make you happy.

I would daresay that Gravity Rush 2 will be a main addition to any collector's library and there's just so much to do in this game that even when you finish the main story, you will come back for the side missions and the challenges. You can even just go in and do a little bit of sightseeing just to enjoy the environment and scenery that this game provides. I hope that they will make a third game and I can't wait to see what else they have in store for the Gravity Queen.
[T]he game’s good moments are just so good that they more than make up for its many infuriating problems.
Its wonderful levity and quirkyness makes Gravity Rush 2 a welcome change from the usual AAA sameness.
