Steins;Gate 0 could be better. It could be shorter and do more to explain the complicated parts of its story. However, it's the follow up to one of the best visual novels out there. It contains the same awesome characters (and minimizes the impact of the annoying ones) and puts them through serious trauma until they come out the other end. It’s a tougher read than Steins;Gate, but you should persevere until you reach the other side. The reward is worth it and I cannot wait to see where this story goes next.

Ultimately, Steins;Gate 0 is a novel. A rather good novel, with interesting, unique, and ironically very 'human' characters, but a novel nonetheless, so you're enjoyment will be dependant on how much you like the storyline, although I can say I really enjoyed it.

Overall, Steins;Gate 0 is an exceptional experience and should be on the radar of any visual novel fan. If you’re not a fan of the genre you won’t find much here to enjoy due to how the story centralizes around reading text, but for those who are, you’re in for a treat.

The game actually starts really slow but the more you play it, the more you get involved with the lives of the characters. Once you are done with your first playthrough, it keeps you wanting more to stop you from wondering what really happened or what did you do wrong. It is an enjoyable game from start to finish and you'd want to unlock all the possible endings just so you can get the whole story.

Steins;Gate is a very rich and deep visual novel. Its story and diverse cast of characters will grab you from the start with a strong grip. It is a long road to its Platinum trophy, but the story is engaging, and the characters are likeable and interesting. It is definitely well worth your time and money. The graphics will mak eyou think you’re playing an anime due to their high level of polish. If you’re a fan of visual novels then you’re going to love this one!

Steins;Gate already demonstrated just how far the visual novel could be pushed towards an experience with genuine literary merit, and the sequel pushes things even further. This is a highly relevant game to some very real discussions that ethicists and moral philosophers will be pondering in the years ahead, and at the same time it tells a ripping, entertaining story. A real masterpiece on every level, and one of the best games I've played all year.

Without doubt, this is a must-play for fans of the series, managing to be a perfect accompaniment and semi-sequel to the original. Though the first game indisputably felt like a complete tale, Steins;Gate 0 nonetheless feels like an essential part of that story, and is so integrated with the original that it mostly feels like the whole story is finally being told. The voice actors' performances, the stunning art, and the superb soundtrack all combine for a final product that is absolutely top tier. Every aspect of this game is polished to perfection. Again, this is, regardless of medium, one of the finest time travel stories that has yet been told.
