It should come as no surprise to anyone that Larian is leading the race for the best RPG of the year.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 is an absolute masterpiece of fantasy RPG games and a great starting point for new nerds as well as a solid choice for long-time fantasy nerds. Want a break from reality? Try Rivellon.
As a result, Divinity: Original Sin 2 may be one of the best RPG games I've ever played in my life. The freedom and opportunities it provides to the player make the world you are in realistic and put you in a situation where you think about the consequences.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 is the best turn-based RPG I’ve played in years. The combat is incredibly tactical due to the implementation of the two armour types and how they resist effects from skills, classless character progression offers an overwhelming depth and strategic flexibility which gives the game huge replay value, and buying new gear and levelling up requires so much consideration as there are lots of meaningful trade-offs. Personally, I found the narrative underwhelming, but it was of little consequence overall as DOS2 is a beautiful and immersive game, featuring a lengthy campaign with cooperative play and other multiplayer modes. It’s unfortunate the poor tutorials leave so much unexplained, and interface issues may cause frustration for some, but my time with DOS2 has been great, and I’d recommend it to anyone interested in tactical RPGs.
For those looking to get into cRPGs, and even for those just searching for a great RPG, Divinity: Original Sin II is heartily recommended.
Larian Studios has perfected their already astounding game with Divinity: Original Sin II - Enhanced Edition. A role playing game packed with so much content, brimful with choices and some of the best characters you´ve seen this side of Baldur´s Gate 2. In fact, there´s so much in it, it´s easy to get lost and confused in such a huge and detailed world. Especially the inventory on the console version suffers from overview issues , but this is readily compensated with the great local coop mode. It´s a game that offers the player everything. And then some…

Divinity: Original Sin II is a great old-school RPG, improving on its predecessor that already was one of the best isometric RPGs.

Bigger, prettier and expanded in almost every regard, Divinity: Original Sin II is a captivating and addicting RPG epic and a worthy successor that's almost unmatched in freedom of choice and character progression, only ever-so-slightly inhibited by a badly balanced last quarter and a lack of boss fights and iconic music.

It’s not very often a game as special as this comes out and the more I play Divinity: Original Sin 2 the more certain I am that it’s one of the best RPG’s of all time.
I am for once at a serious lack of where to start since I can’t just declare 10/10 what are you waiting for and go get it! Though I may just have... Divinity Original Sin 2 is the sequel to the reboot of the series that took to Kickstarter a few years back and has made a mark on both the PC and the Console markets alike. Back again with even better visuals, multiple playable races, choice of musical instruments to play your background music, custom characters or special ones with more storylines and the ability to customize their classes as you see fit? (Takes a breath) It took some time getting out of character creation
An absolute triumph of RPG design, and a sprawling, content-filled game that's sure to enthrall any and all that dive into it. With great quests, satisfying combat, and intelligent systems that all feed into the flow of gameplay perfectly.
This might just be the very best RPG since The Witcher 3. No. No. Scratch that. It is the best RPG since The Witcher 3.
Larian Studios have taken on board the critiques from its previous title and delivered one of the most visceral, engaging, and enjoyable RPGs ever made. If you’re a fan of RPGs or looking for a world to immerse yourself in, Divinity: Original Sin 2 is unmissable.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 is simply the pinnacle of the CRPG genre. It offers a campaign with memorable characters, interesting role-playing options, and excellent systemic combat. The environments are beautiful and the soundtrack is solid. That alone would put it at the top of the heap, but then Larian added offline and online coop, a PVP arena mode, and Game Master mode, the greatest throwback to the Dungeons & Dragons pen-and-paper games that underpin the entire genre. I might have small issues here and there, but Divinity: Original Sin 2 is one of the best in a strong year for gaming.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 is a masterpiece and there are simply not enough words in the English language I can use to describe how I felt playing it. Visually it is vibrant, stunning and wonderfully elegant, with a soundtrack to match that never misses a beat. Every characters is hugely unique and excellently brought to life through both staggering voice acting and creative design, meaning whether you chose to play as your own or one of Larian’s “guys”, you’ll never have the same experience twice.
