Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 Reviews
It's a deep, complex, stylish game that blows every other fighter out of the water, but made surprisingly accessible through things like the Stylish control scheme and a Combo/Mission modes that serve to teach useful, practical combos and strategies.
Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 doesn't really change anything fundamentally, but it brings Guilty Gear Xrd one step closer to perfection. If you still haven't bought Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator, REV 2 is a perfect way to jump into the action since it includes all the previous DLCs. If on the other hand you already have Revelator, you can purchase just the REV 2 update for only 19.99. If you are still not convinced then you can always check out the PlayStation Plus demo.
A gorgeously content rich 2D brawler with style to spare, Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 puts some extra shine on one of the best fighting games available. This is one utterly essential brawler.
Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator 2 is the most complete version of one of the best fighting games in the current generation, and is highly recommended for fans of the genre due to its complexity, and also for genre beginners because of its excellent tutorials. Revelator 2 brings little content to what already was a complete package, and it should please competitive players because of the new balancing and the option to just buy it as a DLC. Meanwhile, new players should opt for the complete package.

Those who thought Rev2 will be vastly different from REVELATOR, surely will be disappointed. But that's hardly a flaw; Because Rev2 is the most complete version of Xrd series. With a solid gameplay, great rock and metal soundtrack, marvelous graphics and one of the best tutorials in fighting game history, Rev2 is the best choice for newcomers and veterans alike

It is a fantastic time to be a fighting fan these days, and perhaps no game epitomizes that more than Guilty Gear Xrd: Rev 2. Without a doubt, there is no better 2D fighting game on the market right now. I have covered numerous Guilty Gear titles over the years, and time and again I come away impressed with the amazing visuals, fast action and surprisingly deep combat mechanics. Guilty Gear Xrd: Rev 2 is easily the best of an outstanding bunch. Even referring to it as a 2D fighting game feels just a bit off, with the 2.5D visuals. Mind you, this is not a truly 3D fighter like Tekken, but the gorgeous visuals still move about the field of play in interesting ways that really highlight just how breathtaking the graphics are. The animations are buttery smooth, with tons of color, detail and movement both in the fighters at the forefront of the action and in the imaginative background environments.
Guilty Gear Xrd is possibly the best fighter out right now. It took three tries to round up this cast (and you can bet your bottom dollar there will be DLC or a Rev 3), but the cycle is complete. With one of the best tutorials outside of Skullgirls it won't even be that hard to break in, either.
Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 is an fantastic game, there's no doubt about that. Revelator was already an incredible fighting game, and for anyone who's yet to experience it this is an easy purchase to make. When you look at the game simply for what's new and compare price points, things start to get a little dicey. There are other additions, but they're so minor, and if you're a player only interested in the competitive scene, they don't matter to you at all. Rev 2 is an amazing all-around package, and deserves just as good a score as the last game, but as an add-on it's a bit too light for the premium price-point it's boasting.
One of the most solid fighting experiences. If you are into the "technical" branch of the genre, you'll definitively enjoy it.

Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 is one of the best fighting games available today and one that is brilliant for both newcomers and veterans alike.
Easy to learn, hard to master, beautiful to watch and imbued with a performant netcode: REV 2 is probably the best 2D fighting game so far.

It's an absolutely brilliant fighting game, and one with a tremendous wealth of modes and a tutorial that puts most of its peers to shame. It is, in many ways, the best 2D fighting game on the market right now, thanks to the way it explains every aspect of its gameplay in a practical manner.
Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 is a fantastic fighting game that every fan of the genre should play.

Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 proves that Arc System Works is nowadays the master of 2D fighting genre. The game is dangerously close to perfection and makes a prime example for everyone else.

Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 remains just about the final word in the genre for balance, fighting systems and training modes. Literally the one major stumbling block for this entry in particular is how little it actually offers returning players. Anyone yet to try the Guilty Gear series who enjoys fighting games owes it to themselves to check out Xrd Rev 2.
To put it bluntly, there's never been a better time to jump into this fantastic fighting game. Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 is the total package. The new story content is nice, but the changes and additions to the roster really bring everything together. All of the characters are deep, complex, and rewarding to learn. The competition tends to be fierce, if not entirely on another level, but there's never any reason to feel put off. This title provides all of the necessary resources to help newcomers make meaningful progress. In short, you don't want to miss out on one of the best fighting games of the year.
Overall, Rev 2 is a great step above other fighting games available in terms of content. While I enjoy the addition of a fresh face and that of the veteran, I don’t see the justification of making a whole new version, but the several new additions found around the game and new balance patch definitely helps ease my concerns towards Rev 2.
A beautiful fighting game with an incredible depth to the mechanics. Stylish, compelling, and above all fun, 'Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2' hits all the right marks. The depth of the content and tutorials allow both seasoned fighting game veterans and those completely new to the genre to dive in to the world of Guilty Gear.
Probably the best anime-style fighter out there and one of the greats in the fighting game genre, Guilty Gear XRD Rev 2 delivers a robust fighter that takes some time to master but rewards that patience with some remarkably fluid fighting action and a diverse cast with a unique range of moves and special attacks. It’s not quite like anything else out there right now, and I definitely recommend it for fans of the genre
