Great Roster
High-Quality Story Mode
Fantastic Core Gameplay

Summary: Absurd. Brutal. Superb. Balanced. Controversial. Mortal Kombat X may not be as earth-shattering as some of its predecessors and its monetization may leave a bad taste, but it is still a solid fighting game that delivers on the premise of over-the-top gory action

Mortal Kombat X has tons of polish, unique mechanics, and the genre's best story mode, but it doesn't do enough to keep players invested if they weren't already planning on it.
