God of War Reviews
Santa Monic has set new standards for action-adventure games with God of War. The game has already attracted me from start to finish. It's an experience that happens only once every 10 years, and I can not wait to see how the series will become in the future, with a unique open world, interesting storyline, simple gameplay but difficult to master, and soundtrack and sound performance is the best ever, I can say God of War is the best game on PS4.

God of War is so well-crafted, every scene is beautifully detailed. Even scary creatures have their own charm, making me hesitant to actually kill them with the gruesome finishing moves. God of War is one gorgeous game, from beginning to end.
It's not just Kratos' appearance and maturity that's changed, but so has the God of War formula. Everything has grown up and with it you're left with an unforgettable adventure that will stay with you long after you put the controller down.
God of War is an amazing masterpiece that you won't soon forget.
God of War is one of the best games this writer has had the pleasure of playing in years….maybe ever. Almost every aspect of this game is nearly perfect, and the other aspects are perfect.
God of War is an amazing step forward in gaming that expands the general narrative beyond what one would ever expect.
God of War is a wonderful, immersive game which has everything. The story is powerful and touching, the action is fast paced, the world complex and the presentation is truly stunning. God of War is one of the best games I have ever played. It's a masterpiece in every sense of the word.
God of War is one of PlayStation 4's most wonderful exclusive games, and undoubtedly one of the great games of the generation so far.
With this new God of War, Santa Monica Studios managed to perfectly refresh the franchise without losing its essence, making it the best entry ever made. While veterans might feel overwhelmed by all the changes, they will easily get used to it, and will play one of the top 5 best looking games on the console.
God of War is one of the defining games of this generation, holistically reinventing the action game wheel and grafting humanity and emotion into a series previously devoid. A stellar technical achievement in every aspect and a thoughtful, unmissable work of art that shouldn't just be experienced by gamers.
Great story and narrative combined with phenomenal and modernized gameplay and flawless graphics and sound design, all mix up to make God of War one of the most memorable games of recent times. Following the story of Kratos who once was a killer machine but is now struggling to raise his son is an engaging and at times, an emotional experience. It is very clear that the risk taken by Santa Monica Studios has paid off and we can't wait to see the next installment in this groundbreaking series.

God of War manages to keep the soul of the franchise intact while drastically changing its tone to a grounded story about father and son, making God of War one of the greatest achievements of this console generation.
God of War is a technical achievement and a damn good game. It occasionally prioritizes visual flare and storytelling over compelling gameplay, but that just means it’s a different type of game from its predecessors. Whether it’s better or worse will depend on what you’re after. I enjoyed the story, the writing, and the characters. While I was disappointed with the combat at times, it still had incredible moments that made me feel like an actual god of war for the first time since this series began.
God of War goes above and beyond with its storytelling and gameplay to not only become the game of the year, but quite possibly the best PS4 exclusive to date.
I was happy with God of War being finished, I didn’t think the world needed another game with Kratos as the lead. What I didn’t count on was this masterful reinvention coming along and proving me wrong. I have never been so happy to be wrong in my life.
God of War is a cinematic masterpiece, a masterclass in game design and the greatest adventure game ever made. It’s the absolute peak of AAA gaming and the best merger of storytelling and gameplay I have ever seen.
God of War gets out of its own comfort zone and walks the line between old and new, giving the old “Ghost of Sparta” a metaphorical facelift without scaring off fans of the original trilogy. Even though the plot is not going to win any awards for originality, the tale of father and son simply gets to you. The gameplay is smooth and intuitive and does not only look good but also feel god which makes God of War a possible contestant for Game of the Year 2018.

As the first God of War game since 2013, something in the tried and tested formula needed to change. Sony Santa Monica has effectively done this with God of War 4.
God of War is a new beast of its own. It is not the game fans asked for but the game fans needed without even knowing.
