If it's not a port that changes a thing, it's still a pleasure to be able to play Bayonetta anywhere, anytime Years after its inital release, Bayonetta 2 keeps on delivering. It is still the best beat them all you can play at this time, the most beautiful, the craziest, the most generous.

The queen of stylish action has now made her way to the Nintendo Switch, and along with Bayonetta herself comes two of the best action adventures money can buy. While both games have minor nitpicks and there, overall they're fantastic experiences enjoyable by casual and hardcore players alike, giving form to quality re-releases on Nintendo's latest platform.

Even though both games are coming well after players enjoyed them on several other platforms, the Bayonetta games remain near-perfect examples of pure, unfiltered action and spectacle. Both Bayonetta games seamlessly blend escalating action with imaginative design and a combat system that toes the line between accessibility and making you feel like a true badass, and rewarding players with careful timing and experimentation. Bayonetta‘s over-the-top action and style may not be for everyone, but for Switch owners looking for a bit of blood-pumping action to have on-the-go,  it's easy to recommend having Bayonetta show you a good time.

Cereza continues to age well as "Bayonetta 1 + 2: Switch Collection" brings Platinum's high-octane franchise to Nintendo's latest system for new players and series fans alike. Folks who already own both games might not have much reason to get it unless they want to experience the Bayonetta series again on the go. For action game lovers who never played either game before, getting this is pretty much a no-brainer. Now bring on Bayonetta 3.

Ultimately, these are two of the most enjoyable and finely crafted action games ever released. While the lack of meaningful new content or resolution bump is a bit disappointing, if you’ve yet to experience these bats–t crazy but beautiful brawlers, this is the perfect time to discover what makes the Bayonetta series so bewitching.

The first Bayonetta is one of the best stylish action game ever. Similar to the Wii U version, this new edition is smoother than the previous one. It is the last call to play with the sexy witch witch before the arrival of next chapter. Bayonetta 2 on Switch looks smoother and more solid. It is undoubtedly on of the best action games ever made, and it's a joy to play while we wait for the next chapter.

PlatinumGames' Switch debut leaves me excited for the future. The witch is back in a style and form befitting only of herself, paving the way for, and bridging the gap to, Bayonetta 3. Bayonetta + Bayonetta 2 demonstrates the Switch can not only run the greats of the Wii U on the go, but run them at their best.

The developers haven't messed with the content. Because almost no one bought the Wii U, few people had the chance to play Bayonetta 2. With Bayonetta 3 on the horizon, giving people a chance to catch up is a really good idea on Nintendo's part. That's why these ports have been released, and they're that good that, even if you were one of the few with a Wii U, you may as well buy them again.

Bayonetta 2 is a perfect choice to port over to the Nintendo Switch. The eclectic action and story is a treat on its own, but it's amazing how great it looks and plays when in handheld mode.

We are happy that SEGA, Nintendo and Platinum Games have reached a new agreement to continue a series that deserves a third installment, but while that exclusive for the Nintendo Switch arrives, it is good to be able to prepare with this collection that allows you to play anywhere.

Between the tongue-and-cheek gameplay and the upgraded playability, Bayonetta 1 & 2 for the Nintendo Switch are remarkably polished ports. Although additional modes and features wouldn’t have gone amiss for those who purchased the Wii U version, the games are superb in their own right. Featuring best-in-class portability, enhanced performance and a lick of polish, Bayonetta 1 & 2 on the Switch are insanely fun, non-stop action games. After all; once you pop, you just can’t stop.

Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 are enjoyable, slick romps through a crazy hack and slash world. If you like dodging at just the right moment before unleashing a spectacular combo and a fast-talking protagonist, you owe it to yourself to meet this witch.

A classic that now is becoming portable without losing anything on its way. Bayonetta 2 is still an essential game despite the time since its launch on Wii U. This version may not provide excessive improvements or novelties, but if you didn't play at the time, you are facing the perfect opportunity to do so.

As a fan of Bayonetta I was very much looking forward to the release of both available parts for the Nintendo Switch. Even though the touchscreen controls won't knock anyone's socks off, you can tell that the developer has really thought about his software instead of just releasing a clumsy port for the switch, which unfortunately happens very often. The gameplay is simple, but the variety of combos is hard to master. It takes a little bit of experience to be able to react accordingly in every situation. But this is exactly what makes games of this genre. The passionate gamer with a penchant for brute action can't get past Bayonetta 2. To complete the gaming experience, Nintendo offers a fair deal for the bundle of both parts. So I recommend to every prospective customer to quit Bayonetta and then enter Bayonetta 2. Because of the co-op mode, you can always find a player online and have a lot of fun if the playing time is short. Finally, the ambitious collector of the much too expensive Amiibo can use it to good effect. Finally there is a good game that gives you an advantage, but is not too unfair to players who don't own any or only a few of the NFC figures. The whole package is a success and we can make a very clear recommendation to buy with a good knowledge and conscience!
