7'sCarlet Reviews
If you're looking for a visual novel that has more to do than "press X to choose," then go on ahead and pass 7'sCarlet by.
There are otome visual novels out there that are far darker, more explicit, sharper, more horrific, and more intense than this one, but it’s not a criticism of 7’scarlet to say that it’s for those that want something more relaxing and straightforward to enjoy. A truly lovely setting that will have you pining to explore small-town Japan, and some lovely art, make this pulpy-style otome an easy-going page-turner.

If you're a fan of Otome visual novels, then you're going to have a lot of fun playing 7'scarlet on PlayStation Vita. The great art style and varied locations, solid storyline and likable characters make this one an easy game to recommend for you to play on the go.
Wow this town of Okunezato in 7’scarlet has some serious issues they have to look into! I did not at first know where the story was going, but I liked the mystery of it all and the added supernatural elements. The romances were fine, I wasn’t completely convinced by them, except for Sosuke and Yuzuki’s route. But if you like a good mystery story, I would recommend 7’scarlet.
7'scarlet is a decent otome game, and one I have both love and hate in equal measures. Its story manages to bring out a tinge of suspense, but not to the point of being good, especially as many of its plot points do not conclude properly. The romance is also lackluster at times, but credit where credit's due, this game's backgrounds are some of the best I've ever seen in an otome game.

While there may be some unfulfilling moments in 7’scarlet, depending on the route, as a whole it’s an enjoyable otome game.
7’scarlet is a game that tries to be a murder mystery and otome game, but doesn’t always succeed at both to sustain a flowing narrative. However, the male protagonists, despite the tropes, are charming and even the supporting characters help add to the story. The moments that really deliver are accentuated by the ambient soundtrack. In this case, the highs outweigh the lows when it comes to 7’scarlet. I must have spent over 20 hours with the game, but I do not regret it. 7’scarlet is available now on PlayStation Vita, physically and digitally, for $39.99.
Rejoice! 7’sCarlet is the otome visual novel fans have been waiting for.
