LEGO DC Super-Villains might not deviate much from the already successful formula but adds enough content to justify the price tag. Characters are plentiful and allow for tons of replayability in the end. After the rather lacklustre LEGO The Incredibles recently, Tt is back on top form with LEGO DC Super-Villains. This is a real joy for fans of DC Comics, absolutely stuffed with Easter Eggs and inside jokes that cater to every type of DC fan. From the DC films, the Arrowverse TV shows, to the classics, the cartoon series, and, of course, most of all, the comics. Along with containing some really great designed stages and areas, it also has the best story and cast in any LEGO title to date. It's this high quality across the board that will make this more than "just another LEGO game."
LEGO DC Super-Villains is an interesting bet that can potentially transform itself into a new series within the LEGO universe. Although some negative elements are evident, Traveler's Tales game manages to balance the experience with enjoyable mechanics and sometimes great ideas and elevated quality.

If you haven't played a Lego game in a long time then I highly recommend Lego DC Super-Villains.
A fantastic character creator and a funny story makes you want to play in the DC-world. The levels might be unbalanced sometimes but the extra content in the open world makes up for that. Playing together is a blast even though splitscreen isn’t dynamic.

This is one of the best deliveries in the Lego franchise, if not the best. Although it innovates very little compared to previous games, it is very careful in all its sections so that it entertains without boring us at any time. The plot is interesting and has a certain epic tone, as well as the level selection. It also has the largest selection of characters so far and the largest mapping. We have entertainment for several dozen hours.

LEGO DC Super-Villains finally did something, what most LEGO games couldn't - it brought us something new. Puzzles, minigames were always part of LEGO games but never in this particular way. In combination with so many playable anti-characters and their well-done skills, we finally get something, which at least seems like something we haven't tried before. On the other hand controls and the old-known mechanics, which you can find in almost every LEGO game, isn't something that's going to vanish from this super-villain world.

You’ll mash buttons to fight and destroy things, build overly-designed objects and generally just have a laugh. It’s hilarious, entertaining and off-the-walls mental, just like its case. It’s a refinement of what came before, but damn is it entertaining.
If you heard of Traveler's Tales, then you probably know it as the company behind the infamous LEGO videogame series… And yes, they are back with yet another edition (the 28th if our math is correct), this one called LEGO DC Super-Villains, a spin-off to the LEGO Batman Trilogy. Despite the Lego formula being tired at this point, Traveler's Tales manages to make the best out of their DC license deal, ending up with a charming quirky videogame that keeps you entertained throughout the story, and overshadows its faults.
LEGO DC Super-Villains was a delight to play from start to finish and once again shows an attention to the source material even the big budget DC films sometimes seem to lack. The astounding voice cast brought together brings the world to life, and the refined gameplay systems are as simple as ever to pick up and jump in. Even though the target audience for these games is no doubt on the younger end of the spectrum, Traveller’s Tales have delivered a superb game with a little something for everyone. With great new gameplay additions, hilarious storytelling and the impressive rogue’s gallery of DC to draw from, LEGO DC Super Villains lives up to its bad guy rep and completely steals the show.
LEGO DC Super-Villains is an exemplary LEGO video game that polishes all of the series' mechanics to its very best. On the other hand, it doesn't really bring anything new to table.

LEGO DC Super-Villains is a lighthearted romp with those interesting villains that we love to hate. Sprinkle in some chaos, fun abilities and characters that gets far too powerful for their own good and you get to explore the DC universe a little differently.
Overall, I enjoyed my time with LEGO DC Super Villains. It told a unique and entertaining story that could rival any from the DC cinematic universe. The game may have been filled with villains, but the real enemy was not the Joker, Lex Luthor or even the Justice Syndicate. The real Villain was the game’s bugs.
Even if you’re become burnt out on the LEGO formula, LEGO DC Super-Villains makes a strong case to come back and bash everyday objects to collect their stud filled inners, and that goes double if you’re a fan of DC Comics
LEGO DC Super Villains is something you would play to teach your kids the greatness of the DC comics lineup, only without the superheroes taking the forefront.
Over recent years the DC Universe has had some rough patches when it comes to their films but this isn’t the case for the comics and games. Lego DC has had some fantastic heavy hitters in the Lego game series and has offered yet another fun pack game into the mix. Sure it had the issues with the camera angles (which seems to be present in every Lego game) and the lack of free roam in terms of map size but these were the only two things I could point out as its faults.
TT Games does not surprise with the new DC Super Villains, but it does not look for it either. Keep using a formula that has been refined for more than 10 years to make all your games are just as fun and fresh as the first day and are perfect to play with the little ones in the house.

Again this LEGO game is another game fun for young and old gamers. The gameplay is accessible for younger players, but certain elements make it fun for experienced games too.
