Hell Warders Reviews
Hell Warders isn't the prettiest of games you'll play on Nintendo Switch – even in docked mode its visuals really struggle to shake off that last-gen sheen – but look past its unoriginal Gothic aesthetic and there's a competent (if uninspiring) Tower Defence game to be had. If you're planning to tackle this alone, it's best avoided, but if you want to hook up with the admittedly small number of people playing online, the occupants of hell certainly won't slay themselves.
Hell Warders provides an innovative spin on the tower defence genre, fusing third person combat, RPG elements and online play to great effect. Look past the bugs and uninspiring visuals and you'll find a deep and rewarding action strategy game.
Hell Warders has a decent game hidden under its rough exterior.
Even though it combines two genres, Hell Warders is as painfully generic as it gets.
Hell Warders won't even be remembered as the sloppy low-budget experiment that it is. It won't be remembered at all. It is much too rough to meet the standards of average gamers, and not weird enough to be interesting. It certainly is a huge hassle to play for more than four hours, but those first few moments before the balancing gets out of hand are actually enjoyable.
If you can get a group together, then Hell Warders is a lot of fun that you won’t soon forget. The action is tight, the challenges is robust, and the setting is impeccable. For single player tower defence, there are better options
Combat system is whrere Hell Warder's winner card is laid. However i can't ignore the game's lacking of intriguing story and confusing war scenes which is not good for a tower defence game. In the end, i can say that Hell Warders is one of good choices for everyone who is looking for a nice tower Defence game with RPG elements.

Only through a mix of some smart defensive planning, supplemented with your ability to move around the battlefield and fill in when necessary will you survive, and this is especially true if you try to go it solo...
Hell Warders is a bad game that doesn't justify the price tag. It's a simplistic action tower defense game that underdelivers when it comes to both defining factors - being an action game and being a TD.

Overall Hell Warders has some good ideas and visually looks great but the mechanics are just not there. Also plagued by performance issues and horrible load times, I’m looking forward to future versions which could solve some of the above to make it a bit smoother as I would honestly love to see it succeed as the ideas behind it were good ones.
