GreedFall Reviews
Greedfall is an enjoyable RPG game; one that was inspired by some of the biggest games such as Dragon Age and The Witcher. With an engaging story, great memorable characters and deep RPG elements, Greedfall is definitely worth playing

GreedFall might finally be the game that puts its studio's name among some of the best RPG makers of current day. Sure, there are still technical issues and the combat system could use more polish, but the general concept is applied so masterfully that one can hardly hide their enjoyment of this colonial era concoction of story, world design and RPG.

GreedFall punches way above its weight thanks to some excellent writing, surprisingly in-depth RPG mechanics, a strong presentation and plenty of interesting quest lines. Whilst it's a little rough around the edges in areas such as the undeniably poor lip syncing and occasional bugs, this is still a fantastic RPG. GreedFall is well worth the asking price - RPG fans will find a lot to love here.
All in all, it takes HOURS to be able to really sink into GreedFall’s immense world, its cultures and its lore. It takes hours more to start discovering tiny details that can change entire outcomes for the future of your character’s world. Combined with a good character leveling system and gameplay mechanics, GreedFall is a solid RPG and probably Spider’s best work so far.
GreedFall is the next Dragon Age or Witcher experience in everything but name. Spiders delivers a fantastic fantasy action-RPG that you do not want to miss.
Despite a variety of small issues, GreedFall impresses with its engaging narrative, stellar world design, and deep customization.
In 2014, I said that despite its issues, I enjoyed Bound by Flame and would like to see a sequel. While not a sequel, Greedfall is a successor to Bound by Flame and every other Spiders game and it’s absolutely their best work yet.
Greedfall could be the game that 2019 forgets, but cult status could quite easily be on the cards.
Greedfall presents a compelling tale of political intrigue and hard choices and, coupled with its addictive combat and entertaining dialogue, it definitely makes a strong case for your time. It is a bit less refined than some of its contemporaries, however, and some will find it hard to ignore the reused textures and less than stellar graphics. That said, for those who look a bit beneath the surface, they'll find a unique world and a roster of rich characters that surprise you at every turn, and, if that sounds like a win, you should definitely give Greedfall a try.
In some ways, Greedfall has the makings of a classic. It has all of the pieces of the puzzle, but there's just not enough of them or perhaps the puzzle just isn't complex enough.
Finally Spiders show their great quality with Greedfall. A remarkable Action-RPG full of content, which will give hours of fun to the genre. With an even bigger budget I could have aimed higher.

Greedfall presents itself thanks to an interesting setting and a surprisingly well done story as probably the best game Spiders did so far. Repetitive tasks and the usual technical shortcomings reduce the experience strongly but if you can live with that you'll get a decent Dragon Age replacement

If you want to take on the role of a diplomat with a lot of character and dialogue choices, GreedFall is still worth picking up. There is a great world and story here waiting to be explored if you can look past its shortcomings. If your the type of player that skips cut-scenes and dialogue, look elsewhere.
The combat can leave a little something to be desired and these odd bugs for the NPCs break immersion more than a few times, but overall its an emotional investment I’m happy to make. This may not be exactly the RPG you are looking for, but if you are a fan of complex narrative it should definitely be on your radar.
GreedFall is a highly recommended title for all those who are fans of RPG titles and enjoys a remarkable artistic section, managing to create a world of dark fantasy set in the era of imperialism.

GreedFall is the best game made by Spiders yet and a worthy RPG in its own right. While definitely not without faults in some areas, it delivers great writing, arguably the most refreshing setting seen recently in a fantasy game, and solid combat. The links above are affiliate links. While occasionally caving under the weight of its ambition, Greedfall delivers a world worth exploring inhabited by characters and stories just as memorable.
Like many first titles in a newly born series, GreedFall is a game that features a great idea with a flawed execution. At times, it feels that the game is unsure of what it wants to be and what exactly it wants to show to the players, which brings out its imperfections. I hope that overtime Spiders has a chance to iron out the identity of the game and manage to withstand the weight of the expectations that will now fall into their laps.
If you go in expecting a budget RPG that had some corners cut here and there, then you’ll probably find a lot to like here as well. I feel like Spiders has finally discovered their niche with GreedFall, and with some more refinement, tweaks, and added depth, I think they will eventually have a winning formula for their next game.
An action RPG full of interesting ideas, although developed without the massive means of larger software houses.
