Ion Fury Reviews
Ion Fury is a great reminder of how far First Person Shooters have come in twenty years, but it also shows that sometimes the old ways of doing things can still be very entertaining.
Ion Fury isn’t a bad game. In the conventional sense, it’s a very functional shooter reminiscent of the heady days of all the aforementioned titles, with that modern (albeit minimal) sprucing. But it’s so laden down with questionable and somewhat controversy-baiting humour that lets it down a tad.
It has a number of stumbles, but if you want to take a 25-year blast-to-the-past, Ion Fury doesn’t surpass the FPS games of the age, but it does stand well against them, making it a good choice both for veterans of the age and for those new to the classic shooter style.
A real treat to fans of old-school FPSs.

Ion Fury is a game with a great old-school atmosphere. The story is postponed to the sidelines and the main content of the game is to shoot practically everything that moves. Though the weapon arsenal is not the largest, for killing from afar and running between enemies sufficient. In addition, the game has a great soundtrack, which is different for each level.

In the end if you are in the mood for some retro action; then Ion Fury is one that you will not want to miss.
Ion Fury is a game that knows what it’s about, a polished version of the very best of yesteryear with the right attitude to boot. That attitude might be disagreeable to some; however, this is far from a game that should be taken as seriously as to believe it has a stance on social politics. If you can keep that under wraps, then it’s a great little homage to the titles that were once kings of the industry and maybe, just maybe, you’ll have a bit of fun.
Ion Fury is a worthy tribute to the classic Build Engine first-person shooters. It offers gripping action and gives you a chance to reminiscence about the perfect atmosphere of the 90s video games. If you're fan of the classic Doom and the like, Ion Fury might very well end up your game of the year.

Ion Fury is fantastic. Fast paced old-schooled smooth as silk gameplay, it’s both amazing to play today while perfectly reminding me of gaming on a PC that required me to boot Windows 3.1 through DOS. If there’s one shooter that you should play this year, it’s this one!
Ion Fury is one blazing fast paced experience that brings classic shooter action with many modern upgrades.
Ion Fury can be a fun time, but you will start to feel the age of the game design before long. Only for real nostalgia junkies.
Ion Fury is remarkably smooth, much like you would expect from a traditional Build game, or nearly any first-person shooter from the mid-90s.
