eFootball PES 2020 Reviews
Great Football for newcomers and veterans, just with poor menu and UI. But with great gameplay and physics of the ball.

The latest iteration of the series is a hit worthy of its legacy, even if some of the problems that have been affecting it are back. The modes and options are still behind its competition, but, inside the pitch, eFootball PES 2020 is unbeatable.

It comes as no-surprise that eFootball Pro Evolution Soccer 2020 fits into the category of an exceptional football simulator. Superb graphical realism, and tantalising gameplay, create an experience that fans of the beautiful game should absolutely play. Konami really needs to find a way to license the Premier League and La Liga to start tempting those away from FIFA, especially those who are really bothered about licenced content.
As the best soccer/football simulator that can be experienced, PES 20 proves that just a strong and consistent gameplay cannot cause the player to experience a perfect game. Nevertheless, Konami should follow the same path of building the new generation of gameplay on the shattered body of past PES titles in the coming years to modernize the modes, challenges and different parts of the game.

When all is said and done, we can only marvel at what Konami is doing with PES, despite being the underdog. The latest eFootball Pro Evolution Soccer 2020 is fun and great to play, and that's always what people truly want.
Despite the clear abandonment it has in some sectors, eFootball PES 2020 is a great football title and one of the best simulators that exist. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a new stage of success for the franchise and if this is the path they will take from now on, we welcome the proposal of Konami and PES Productions with open arms.

EFootball PES 2020 is a game with moments as great as its gameplay while also having aspects as awful as its new name.
What's in a name? For eFootball PES 2020, it's just words. Even with the new moniker, this year's footballing title offers more of the same - mostly solid gameplay, but lacking any sort of forward momentum in all other areas.
Many issues that we already had with previous entries in the PES series remain unpolished, but nevertheless the 2020 version greatly evolved in many aspects, and it is safe to say that PES 2020 is the best football game from Konami in the last 10 years.

Pro Evolution Soccer is on the right path and eFootball Pro Evolution Soccer 2020 completely proves it. The new installment of Konami's popular football simulator is the best game of series in this generation until now. Smooth and enjoyable gameplay, amazing graphics, various entertaining mods to play, new licenced leagues like Serie A, and beautiful real animations, made eFootball Pro Evolution Soccer 2020 a game you should not miss at all if you love football, whther or not you are fan of series. Of course there are some issues like licence problems for some of the best leagues like La liga and English Premier League, but the game has so many amazing aspects that some licence issues can't ruin your amazing experience of eFootball Pro Evolution Soccer 2020 at all.

While this year title of PES doesn't offer a lot of changes, it does make the gameplay experience more realistic, eFootball PES 2020 is fun to play but expect some annoying issues on and off the pitch.

The game opts for more technical and realistic football, is too conservative and new game modes and notable changes are missing to finish off the experience.

This year's PES is by no means a failure. It just requires a little more time from the players. And as a result, we fully approve.

eFootball Pro Evolution Soccer 2020 delivers an experience that competes with real-life footballing.
One more year, KONAMI promptly brings us its vision of what a soccer simulator should be. And, one more year, it succeeds. Great ball physics, an ideal match tempo, an AI of its own that in much of the match does what it is expected to do, and a rival AI more human than ever, make this eFootball PES2020 the best soccer simulator that can be played to date.

PES started the eighth generation awfully. PES 2015 is probably one of the worst sports games I've ever played. But the PES team has come a long way since then and has overcome many problems. License issues still persist, the gameplay is not perfect and still lacking in ambition and goodwill, but PES 2020 still has the spirit of football. As someone who plays both PES and FIFA every year, I have to say that PES 2020 is a good game, and of course, I hope the creators don't do that and fix the weaknesses with more effort.

There’s a lot to like here and on the pitch, Pro Evolution is easily one of the best football simulators on the market. In terms of polish, the game suffers from some aesthetically janky menus and a cumbersome team management screen. The loading times are a little too long, especially during on-pitch breaks like throw ins and corners, while the commentary is pretty woeful all round. Compared to FIFA though, Pro Evo is all about performance, rather than aesthetic, and where it really matters, the game absolutely delivers.
Football fans around the world, the old king has truly returned. This year's PES delivers an exciting refresh across the board. An immersive and highly satisfying gameplay, refined Master League modes, more licensed teams than ever and an experience that matches its former glory.

While eFootball Pro Evolution Soccer hasn't received as many enhancements as last year, its focus on weighty, realistic matches elevate it to greatness.
eFootball PES2020 is more than a rebrand that goes skin deep. The game has received a level of polish and refinement that the franchise has needed for years.
