Doraemon: Story of Seasons Reviews
While there is a lack of guidance and some confusion about the story, Doraemon Story of Seasons is a beautiful game in a beautiful setting. Its relaxing music and easy gameplay make for a pleasant and calming game experience. It feels as though a lot of love has been poured into making this game, and little details like the seasons changing in the menu according to where in the game the player last saved makes it rather adorable. A wonderful title to relax with, over a longer period of time.
Doraemon Story of Seasons is a good choice for those who no longer have much time for video games, and despite some gameplay issues, it’s so well designed that can easily entertain almost anyone.

Doraemon Story of Seasons is a surprisingly fun game that is tailored to satisfy both adults and kids. It is an enjoyable farming simulator set in the Doraemon universe while offering the charm and gameplay from the Story of Seasons.
undefined.Doraemon: Story of Seasons combines the two series into a wonderful new experience on Switch. There's nothing here that breaks the mold, but that is the charm of Story of Seasons: it feels comfortable and easy to get into, and this iteration definitely goes out of its way to help you ease into the gameplay. If you can get through the excruciatingly long introduction, this is a well polished, beautifully-drawn version of Story of Seasons that anyone familiar with the series will love.
Doraemon Story of Seasons brings the best of the long running Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons formula together with a true cultural icon of Japan. It's rare that the Doraemon video games make their way out west, but this one works so well as a Story of Seasons title that if it is your introduction to Doraemon, you're in for a treat.
Doraemon Story of Seasons is a solid farm sim that isn't for everyone. If you're interested in the worlds of Doraemon or Story of Seasons, be sure to check out some trailers first.
Despite the absence of action that I’m so familiar with from other games, this game is still very engaging enough for me to get sucked into its micromanagement. However, playing this on the PlayStation 4, I felt a bit awkward. I didn’t really think this was the type of game you sit on the couch and boot up on your home console. This was originally a Nintendo Switch game. If you can get the Switch version, then I recommend going for a more portable alternative.
Doraemon Story of Seasons provides a unique take on what is mostly a tried and true formula.
Doraemon: Story of Seasons is a good crossover between the cosmic cat franchise and the developers of the Harvest Moon / Story of Seasons saga. We will not see anything that we have not seen already, and possibly at the farm management level it is below the competition, but a very careful artistic style and the possibility of playing with Nobita's license and his own make a game that little by little that hooks us will give us many hours of fun.

Doraemon: Story of Seasons is great for veterans of the “farm” genre, especially those that come from other titles in the Harvest Moon / Story of Seasons series. Players who like to challenge themselves to find better and more efficient ways to manage their farm will have a lot of fun here, especially with the hel of Doraemon's peculiar gear, and the art direction and soundtrack make this task very enjoyable.

Doraemon Story of Seasons is a competent farming sim with an enticing look that's unfortunately hampered by snail-paced narrative elements and the wrong kind of tedium overwhelming its gameplay.
Doraemon: Story of Seasons is a relaxing and charming farm-life game that suffers from a painfully slow start. Once you get through the early content though, it’s a fun and easy-going game that’s perfect for unwinding.
There are certainly juggernauts in this genre, such as Stardew Valley, Story of Seasons, and even to an extent, Harvest Moon (though the last true good game in that franchise was before the teams split and we ended up with Story of Seasons here in the West). Doraemon Story of Seasons does a well enough job holding its own while delivering on a beautiful word that consistently calls out for you to explore it, even when you’re not physically sitting there playing it.
If you’re attracted by the Doraemon IP, this is a challenging entry into the farming simulator genre. For Stardew Valley fans, this game might not scratch that itch.
Doraemon: Story of Seasons has some excellent illustrations all packed in a massive open world. It's a game that has all the right ingredients from each series to make this an imaginative adventure that fans of each series could enjoy.
