Saints Row the Third has always been one of the most fun games I’ve played and Saints Row the Third: Remastered brings that to a new group of players. Perhaps it could have made more improvement as a Remaster considering the price charged, but the amount of sheer fun you can have makes it well worth playing. There are tons of things to do from structured missions to achievements based on driving on the wrong side of the road. This is not a game that you will be done with by just completing the story.

Saints Row: The Third Remastered we have a remastering that stands out above the rest, knowing how to condense the hooliganism and intelligent humor of the original game with some visual improvements that make it a triple A of this generation of console. We find a game that seeks our entertainment in abundance without more pretension in the more than 20 hours that the campaign lasts, extendable to 35-40 hours with all the secondary and extra missions of the downloadable content included in this edition.

Saints Row the Third Remastered is a great way to revisit a truly classic series that sadly missed out with a new entry this console generation and I hope this is something that might be addressed on the birth of the next generation coming this year. But the bugs take the shine of what is a fun game to play and I fully recommend grabbing a friend and playing this co-op as there is just so much fun to be had at a time when smiles and laughs in the world are few and far between at the moment. I loved returning to Steep Port and the Saints, it has a humour that appealed me all those years ago and this shows that there is still room for Saints Row in current gaming. This is unashamed crazy chaotic fun when everything works, but the frustration of the old issues still being present stick out like a sore thumb.

Saints Row the Third: Remastered is one of the better remasters on the market. Overall, the improvements in graphics are very noticeable and appreciated in my opinion. Fans of the series will appreciate jumping back into the game after all these years, and it still provides hours of content and entertainment. It's not perfect (and some of the humor is a bit outdated), but this remaster is worth picking up, especially if you are a fan of the franchise.

Saints Row The Third Remastered offers exactly what the original offered almost 10 years ago. With a logical and necessary aesthetic facelift and all the content that was released by DLCs included, it is still a very fun and engaging game, and a great opportunity for those who could not enjoy it in their day, but perhaps who already own the one from 2011, have no reason to approach this new version, and it could have been used to make some small playable improvement.

In my early days of playing adventure games on my Xbox 360, one series always had my heart. As campy and ridiculous as it was, the Saints Row series has and always will be one of my favorite series of GTA-like games. I often call Saints Row “Goofy Grand Theft Auto,” a perfect parody of practicing crime while also shooting obscene mascots with a Dubstep gun (yes, that’s a real weapon in this series.) The Remaster for Saint's Row: The Third is a good improvement in an already great game. Also, the inclusion of every DLC available is definitely a good addition for the newcomers of franchise fans alike.

The game is at its best when it embraces the ridiculousness. You’re sure to find plenty of that in Steelport.

Saints Row: The Third Remastered may not offer any new content but its strong writing and crass humor hold it together through a graphical upgrade that brings the 3rd Street Saints back to life once again.

Saints Row: The Third Remastered is just as ridiculous and fun as you remember, and the new coat of paint and modern upgrades make it an adventure that you'll want to take on even if you've already experienced it before. Fans who missed out on the original also owe it to themselves to see what all the fuss was about, because if they do they will find quite a lot to love. It's not perfect, mind you, but, honestly, you'll be having too much fun to really care about its flaws.

Saints Row The Third Remastered offers the same as its original game but with a new virtual paintjob. This, however, does not mask the problems the original game had, which is definitely a shame and holds back the game in multiple ways. Where the game is not held back is in the department of fun and humor, as is known from the Saints Row franchise. The game truly comes to its right as a co-op game, but is still enjoyable as singleplayer.

Saints Row 3 is mechanically the best the series has ever been, and narratively the worst it's ever been, leaving this born-too-late remaster a mixed bag.

Running around, shooting people, stealing cars and shoving grenades down throats. That's what you want from a Saints Row game. Newcomers to the franchise will enjoy the heck out of it, but longtime fans won't find anything new. Pretty, but not new.

This is still Saints Row: The Third – which is to say that it’s one of the most enjoyable open-world games ever made – only now it looks and plays better then ever.

Saints Row The Third Remastered is a good game and an enjoyable experience that still has its touch, but like many remastered game in this generation, it's not good enough in remastering quality. Finally, you can still enjoy Saints Row The Third Remastered thanks to really fun gameplay, even if it's not a high quality Remaster in technical aspects.

Saints Row: The Third - Remastered is about the minimum you can expect from a remaster. It looks better, contains all of the DLC, and it does what it needs to do. However, you can't escape the fact that Saints Row 4: Re-Elected, which is already available, hits almost all of the same marks while being a more enjoyable game with almost all of the same features and significantly better humor. If you enjoyed the original Saints Row: The Third, then this is a good way to revisit it, but for newcomers, there are better entries in the series to try.

Whether you’ve played Saints Row: The Third before or not the work put into this remaster makes it pretty easy to recommend. If you want an over-the-top open world game to dive into then I think you’ll have a lot of fun with this one whether you play it solo or online with friends. Not everything about it has aged well but the fantastic work the team put into improving the visuals is commendable and makes it one of the best remasters around.
