Assassin's Creed Valhalla Reviews
Assassins Creed Valhalla is a lot of fun and easy to sink dozens of hours into. It is the best entry in the more recent trilogy and genuinely elevates the gameplay mechanics. Content could be considered somewhat bloated still, but it is diverse enough and the setting and story is solid most of the way through.
Assassin's Creed: Valhalla is a departure from what one might expect from the series, but it proves that those changes make for an overall fantastic "next-gen" game.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is too much of the same thing, and it's not nearly engaging enough.
It is highly satisfying completing a story arc or traversing the world and finding things that you felt that other players might not have stumbled across due to the nature of the open world and its use of way finders. The lack of load times on Xbox Series S is truly impressive given the nature of environments, landscape, and elements that are present on screen. There were a few issues from characters floating in mid-air, bizarre enemy AI, and straight up freezes, although these were far and few between given the scope of it all. Intuitive and varied combat help keep things fresh, even if it does take a fair few hours of gameplay to really get going. Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a thoroughly enjoyable, open-world RPG that is an absolute must for Xbox owners.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla spins an epic tale of Viking legends and Eivor’s conquering of England. The world is gorgeous and chock-full of content, with a smaller map than Odyssey but feeling a lot denser and giving more weight to the side-quests than ever before. Know what you’re getting into when you set your mind to beating this game; you’ll be in it for the long run and you’re guaranteed to have a blast the entire time. Sköl!
It may sound like I've been constantly ripping into Assassin's Creed Valhalla, but it's more complicated than that. I love the world and exploration, and I love that Ubisoft made a concerted effort to address many people's issues with Odyssey. I love that I don't get constantly blindsided by over-leveled mercenaries, I love that assassin missions have death cut scenes, and there are so many side stories to explore. It just doesn't come together as well as it could. It feels like the development team has branched out to try new things, but none of the good ideas and changes were followed through, making them feel like shallow attempts to change things. This would likely not have been a criticism if we were talking about a runtime of fewer than 30 hours. With a runtime of 50+ hours, though, these sorts of things eventually come crashing down as player fatigue sets in. I still enjoy Valhalla for what it does, but it hurts to know that this could've been a tighter, greater game that delivered on its ambitions rather than merely hinting at them.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla feels like it is the culmination of a new Assassin's Creed Trilogy that started with Origins and followed with Odyssey. Everything that made these games great has been improved in Valhalla making it one of the best games in the series that released this generation.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a sumptuous game, not only in size and because of a huge game map and varies beyond imagination. We are faced with a serious title, capable of proposing the usual historical and cultural reconstruction of absolute value, weaving a compelling and coherent plot that is a little difficult to take off and that could have been condensed in a more rhythmic way, but that will drag you into a whirlwind of battles and violence. As already mentioned, Eivor has proved to be a charismatic protagonist, capable of carrying the weight of the saga on his shoulders.

Assassin's Creed brings beautiful English countryside to the masses whilst fixing a lot of the series' recent missteps. Some genuinely fun and surprising moments with some great writing make for a fun time.
Assassin's Creed series evolved with Odyssey, now it's set on a better path.

Rather than continuing to build on its predecessors, Assassin's Creed Valhalla takes a more streamlined approach to the open world RPG design, for better or worse. It encourages exploration more than ever, and the new setting is initially exciting, but bland characters and underwhelming presentation don't exactly make it a must-have game for your new next-gen console.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a major improvement over 2018's Assassin's Creed Odyssey. The game tells a captivating story of a Viking warrior and presents the player with a marvelous open-world to explore.
There are many things to see in this game that you’ll miss out on if you plow through it, so try to take some time to explore this beautiful game. Whether you’re on current-gen or next-gen, there’s a lot to love here. I will say that playing it on the Xbox Series X after spending time on the Xbox One X, the difference is just night and day from 30 FPS to 60.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla sees the long-running franchise at an absolute high point. A much tighter, more refined and narrative-focused experience, it learns lessons from other recent open world efforts, removing much of the series' tedious open-world busywork and channelling its players through a genuinely excellent and intriguing adventure. There's still plenty of exploring, looting and collecting to be done here but it's so much more engaging, full of fun puzzles and atmospheric treasure hunts that make the downtime between story arcs all the more rewarding. This is Assassin's Creed looking and feeling better than ever.
There is too much to love in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, from its beautiful world, epic battles and one of the most charming protagonists in the series. the experience was affected by the length of its story, yet it's one of the best entries in the series.

While it does have some originality issues, the game succeeds in its mission: to give us a great Viking game experience in the world of the AC franchise. Great strides were made making this game the best out of the series.
When Ubisoft "decides" to make a masterpiece, it creates a game like Assassin's Creed Valhalla that is one of the best and most amazing Open-World game has been ever created. It is almost a perfect game that made me play 60 hours in 7 days and i really know that i haven't reached even half of this legend yet! No, Don't mistake, only 200 hours of gameplay and a huge world don't make a game, masterpiece, but the point is Assassin's Creed Valhalla has a huge world with every inch has its own identity in addition to the content's quality and quantity comparable to masterpieces like The Witcher 3. Anyway, i can write a book about awesomeness of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, but finish this with one line, "Either you love A.C series or not, don't lose Assassin's Creed Valhalla because it is one of those amazing masterpieces you don't see much in an entire generation. Don't play Assassin's Creed Valhalla? it's really your big loss!" Sorry, A bit more than one line, Ha?!
