SteamWorld Dig 2 took everything great about the original and improved upon it. Let's hope the same happens with SteamWorld Quest, should it get a sequel.
Overdose is certainly the strongest and most improved version of Caligula Effect out there, but I still have a hard time recommending it.
A worthwhile excursion, Pathway's unrealized potential hurts my heart.
This is a challenging and fun roguelike with polished gameplay mechanics.
A good final DLC episode for Final Fantasy XV, although it's not without its blemishes.
Probably better off pulling up the cutscenes on YouTube.
For something that you can fit into a long lunch break, Florence is a beautiful and memorable story that has stuck with me ever since I finished it. I laughed and cried along with Florence as she made her way through life, and it helped me get through some particularly tough times. The developers at Mountains have done a phenomenal job at elevating an everyday story to a beautiful, whimsical and sometimes sad adventure, and they’ve reminded me that if things don’t work out, there’s always something else to look forward to.
NieR: Automata is a true masterpiece; the new content just strengthens an all-time classic.
Yakuza Kiwami is a fantastic remake that effortlessly immerses you in the world of Kamurocho, Tokyo.
As excellent a conclusion as we could hope for.
The Princess Guide fails to execute on its good ideas, and the result is a game that feels like it was released before it had time to be raised properly.
With so many cool and interesting otome games available in English nowadays, a milquetoast game like this is not even worth a look.
This isn't a fun game, but it is an experience with a message.
The definitive return to a heartfelt classic in the Final Fantasy series.
Overall, while I can't say that God Eater 3 does much to step away from the paths of its predecessors, I enjoyed my time with it. I had fun devising strategies and gathering crafting materials, so much so that I never once backed down from doing even optional missions when playing.
Occasionally, Demon Gaze II can be a little fun and make you chuckle. And, while there is nothing especially wrong with the game, there really are not many highlights either. I wish could say more positive things about this game, but in all honesty, it's not one I would recommend for most JRPG fans.
Already the best game in the Mario & Luigi series, the new graphics and presentation raise it to new heights on the 3DS!
Eastshade is an original masterpiece that needs to be experienced by everyone at least once in their lifetime.
Death end re;Quest's haunting atmosphere pairs up well with the dread-inducing story, making for a worthy experience.
Anthem is a painfully average RPG from a developer that is capable of so much more.
