Dedicated fans of Japanese absurdity may find something worthwhile in D4. Everyone else will be stuck with an unfinished story and unsatisfying gameplay, for a price that seems too high for just two episodes.

Far from being an unloved spin-off, Assassin's Creed Rogue has turned out to be one of the gaming highlights of the year. Forget Unity's troubles, this is the ultimate Assassin's experience of the year and should be snapped up immediately.

Croteam's foray into territory beyond absurd, large-scale first-person shooters is not without faults, but it proves without a doubt that they aren't the one-trick pony you thought they were.
The Crew has a fantastic open world to explore and some decent ideas, but the rest of the game falters with every rev of the engine.
Project Spark is appreciated for its ambition, and even more appreciated for its price, but there are better tools out there for aspiring game makers and far better playing games that this one claims to replicate.
If you're looking for a reason to buy a Wii U, Super Smash Bros is your best bet. It's the most polished and fun Smash Bros. game I've played. For someone who loves video games like I do, seeing all these characters, as well as the extra trophies and the amazing soundtrack, I have just as much fun perusing the little extra details as fighting itself. With so much content, I'll be playing for years to come.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is nothing short of astounding, from its immense world to the deep characters. The memorable adventure has flaws, but they pale in comparison to its numerous triumphs.
A warm and nourishing tale, set in the realms of folklore and imagination combined with an interesting, well made documentary. Finicky controls and poor AI, however, let down what could have been.
LittleBigPlanet 3 brings a box of new toys and drops them at your feet. Your enjoyment of the game will greatly depend on what you decide (and are able) to do with that assortment of goodies.
Company of Heroes 2: Ardennes Assault has some good ideas and atmospheric levels but the ludicrous asking price, lack of difficulty balancing and problematic AI leave this expansion out in the cold.
The DC license lacks the star quality of its Marvel rival, but the refined elements of Lego Batman 3 ensure this is an improved sequel, despite the removal of an open world to explore. As ever though, this is best enjoyed in co-op if your sanity can take a bit of taunting from the camera.
With a new console generation, now is as good time as any to rebuild a legacy, and PES 2015 looks to have taken that opportunity. While not without a share of problems, the title lays a solid foundation for the future of this football franchise.

Lords of the Fallen provides a substantial and challenging adventure with outstanding combat that still manages to move along at a good rate despite telling a throwaway tale.
