The simplistic nature of the combat system means that fights, though enjoyable, can become quite repetitive
[Ninja Senki DX] succeeds to replicating what's already been done, which is fine, but it fails to be a classic in its own right
It's a shame [more difficult] fights are so few and far between as it is where the tactics and strategy of the genre really shine
…Finally climbing up the stairs and seeing what awaited in the final minutes of the game should have been exhilarating… but rather it felt like somebody had just let all the air out of a shiny birthday balloon, deflating with a disappointing fart

Trails of Cold Steel looks very nice indeed thanks to its colourful and well-designed character and enemy models as well as a consistently smooth framerate, although you can’t say that it makes the most of the handhelds power
Those interested in Street Fighter 5 should view their purchase as a season pass. At launch, there's the bare minimum amount of content included to enable players to get used to the game's fighting systems, but over the coming months it will grow in features and content to make it a better, more rounded experience, for free
This game makes me wish my friends lived more locally so I could have them round every week to play a few matches of Living Dungeon with beer or two
The actual world of Monumental, thankfully, seems like its one saving grace
The style of animation is minimalist and yet somewhat beautiful

One miscalculation and you have to start the entire level again. Sometimes, these miscalculations are not even your fault
The look of this game is nothing short of stunning… Each detail is carefully designed and thought out with a charming feel to it overall
The final two games step forward and show their well-polished improvements with graphics that laugh in the face of many 2015 releases
The thing that really stands out about Rise of the Tomb Raider is that you care about the characters at all
Oxenfree's aesthetic is wonderfully distinctive, to the point where it's indelibly tied to the game
It's hard to not love Klaus. It's one of those games that sneaks up on you from out of nowhere and puts a big smile on your face because of how surprisingly good it is
