Tennis feeling, the physical feedback of the shots, the animations, everything is in place but the responsiveness that allows to move with more agility on the field is still missing. AO Tennis 2 remains a little rough, but its talent is crystal clear.

Despite a bunch of interesting ideas, Phoenix Point rarely offers a viable alternative to the many other games of the same genre. Greatly unbalanced, unpolished and poorly optimized, the game by the creator of the X-Com series is but a shadow of Gollop's past.

Narcos: Rise of the Cartels is a strategic turn-based combat game that simply doesn't work. Despite a high-sounding name, the managerial part and the strategic depth are lacking; moreover, the variants to the classic X-Com gameplay are strange and poorly designed.

Ancestors The Humankind Odissey is tough to master but fascinating to play, thanks to the freedom of its atypical open world. Every discovery becomes an exciting moment, although not always easily interpretable; in addition, the later release of the console version allowed the developers to improve it in all its features.

Mosaic is a remarkable narrative game, suggestive in its small length, telling of a silent revolution in an oppressive dystopian society.

Apart from a few problems of readability for the puzzles elements, Still There is an extremely bright, challenging, "tactile" point-and-click, which manages to gracefully tell a story of atonement, torment, dramatic but at the same time light, ironic, always ready to throw the right inspired quotation.

When it works, Darksiders Genesis is quite fun and entertaining. Unfortunately the game is plagued by many technical issues and some very questionable design choices that prevent to guarantee an enjoyable experience from start to finish.

Blacksad: Under the Skin is an adventure that moves away from the classic point and click structure, but it's far from perfect in the ambitious game design. That said, Pendulo Studios game is pleasant to play and overall unmissable by fans of the original comic.

Arise: A Simple Story is a puzzle platform game with a soul. It's a beautiful and touching trip through the emotions of the protagonist and the player. Even if short and without words, Arise can say a lot to the heart.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts can be appreciated for what it is: a sniping game far from perfect but ready to engage the player without exceeding, which can be taken home at an affordable price..

Shenmue III is a game true to the past, perhaps too much. Yu Suzuki manages to attract die-hard fans of the original game, but will hardly conquest the heart of the new generation.

Terminator Resistance is a mediocre title. Gunplay in not so bad, but the game looks old and never offers engaging or exciting moments. Fun for a couple of hours and nothing more.

The Sims 4 Discover University involves you to play and play again with your Sims, without ever getting bored. The many elements introduced, from PHD to careers, passing through most goliardic events, are able to create a self-contained chapter in the life of our Sims, clearly satisfying the most fierce fans of the franchise. Cosmetic elements are not so many, but careers and PHD offer a proper entertainment, creating a great play experience, similar to the old expansions.

Walking through the southern lands of Elsweyr turned out to be a pleasant experience, even if the journey lasted only four or five hours and, in some passages, it started to become a little bit tiring.

Pokémon Sword and Shield represent an exciting new beginning for the saga. Some ideas aren't perfectly developed, but overall the work of Gamefreak is convincing.

Just Dance 2020 will ignite your parties and make you dance until exhaustion. It is so immediately fun that it is easy to overlook the issue of track discoverability and the lack of a proper story mode.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order hits the target by offering the right mix of adrenaline-pumping action and thoughtful exploration. The metroidvania mechanics are grafted to perfection within the game formula, and the same can be said for those borrowed from the latest productions of From Software. Without introducing anything really new, Respawn Entertainment manages to merge all these elements and give birth to a fascinating and satisfying experience, as well as being consistent with the Star Wars ecosystem (much more than the last movies).

Layton's Mystery Journey: Katrielle e il complotto dei milionari is a slightly lazy conversion of a rather disappointing game at the time of its original release. It's a decent budget game, but it's not as good as the previous games dedicated to professor Hershel.

Football Manager 2020 is another Sports Interactive title packaged to the smallest detail, almost perfect and optimized in all aspects. However, its structure is starting to need updating.

At the moment I spent about twelve hours among the peaks and plateaus that pop up in the clouds of Stormland, fighting the robotic threats of the "Tempest", and I think I will spend as many in the coming days. Contents of this Oculus exclusive by Insomniac Games promise to be infinite, they are not in fact – or, at least, their variety has a precise limit, even in the procedural generation after the end of storymode – but it does enough to be loved by video games sci-fi fans and, in general, those who enjoy approaching open world settings with great freedom of action, often exellent in its concepts and pleasantly in the boundaries of emergent gameplay.
