7.5 / 10.0 - Dex
Jul 23, 2020

DEX offers a complete package for those who like the RPG genre thanks to the well built mix of action and stealth. Exploring every corner of Harbor Prime is rewarding, even if it's not very complex. Dex's customization opens new paths according to the priority you give to each of her traits, and her versatility in combat makes the battles exciting. Besides that, the tone of mystery and the initial sequence of action already catches the player and presents a little of what can be expected in the course of the interesting adventure.

Strawberry Vinegar is a visual novel whose concept is a friendship that arises by gluttony and develops when the characters share meals. Although the choice of children as protagonists causes some initial fear, the work approaches the purity of friendship and love in childhood in a very honest way. It is very worthwhile for those who want a short visual novel with beautiful illustrations and mouth-watering foods.

7 / 10.0 - Castle Pals
Jul 22, 2020

Castle Pals is not a must play in the Nintendo Switch library, but it is a game worth trying if you are interested in simple platform titles.

8.5 / 10.0 - Neon Abyss
Jul 21, 2020

Neon Abyss is a fun, colorful and challenging roguelite. The game delivers a simple story in a challenging campaign and there is still time for fun with excellent mini-games that break the pace.

void tRrLM (); // void Terrarium is a very special work. With a story of strong emotional appeal, a melancholic atmosphere and organically integrated mechanics, the result is an excellent experience that demonstrates very well the quality of its developer even in the development of simpler games.

Despite some problems, it is not difficult to have fun and spend several hours exploring the world of Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. If you like this kind of game, but you've played Stardew Valley a thousand times, can't take Animal Crossing: New Horizons anymore, or just played the original or miss a good old Harvest Moon, go ahead without fear. There is a lot to do, more than I expected at the beginning, actually.

9 / 10.0 - CrossCode
Jul 16, 2020

CrossCode is a well-executed and interesting story, with a charismatic world, captivating characters, an addictive combat system and creative puzzles. The result is a game that was visibly made from the heart. Even with imperfections in performance and other details, the action RPG from Radical Fish Games proves to be a hidden gem that deserves all possible recognition.

8 / 10.0 - Superliminal
Jul 15, 2020

Superliminal takes a lot of inspiration from classic 3D exploration puzzle titles, but it never copies them. The mechanic of using forced perspective as part of the solution to the puzzles is quite original and makes it stand out among other titles in the genre. When well designed, the challenges are thought-provoking and fun to overcome, giving the player the satisfaction of seeing things from another angle. In addition, the game is quite creative, putting the character in unexpected and dreamlike situations.

8.5 / 10.0 - Infini
Jul 14, 2020

Infini is a puzzle game that manages to offer a truly unique and thought-provoking experience. Although the visual and sound aspect is a point that clearly will not please many people and has a script a little more concrete than the game needed, any fan of the genre should try it.

Star Wars Episode I: Racer is a product of its time. Although its gameplay remains fast and fun even when compared to more current titles, its content and graphic presentation denounce that this is a game of the last century, and the remastering does little to mitigate that fact. How much it will matter, honestly, is a personal matter for each player.

5 / 10.0 - Clash Force
Jul 13, 2020

Clash Force is one of those inexpensive games that you can enjoy for a few minutes thanks to its uncomplicated gameplay, but, unfortunately, is no longer relevant once it is finished.

7 / 10.0 - Night Call
Jul 12, 2020

Night Call has few mechanics, but intriguing stories. In addition to the investigative premise itself, what really delights are the dozens of different people we deal with in Paris nights. These narratives are great and make the journey worthwhile. But, let's face it: for a game this is a big problem. Still, who wouldn't want to hear conversations in a taxi in a tense and mysterious world?

If you like Dig Dug, some older Mr. Driller or even Tetris, it's worth giving DrillLand a try. You can expect a game in which there is much to be done, with addictive gameplay, a great soundtrack and a first-rate setting.

Particularly, I still consider Deadly Premonition 2 spectacular, but it is necessary that the player has a lot of patience to deal with its flawed aspects. I am deeply perplexed that there was no such care, because the product could have been a masterpiece. Still, I recommend it for those who, like me, are not afraid to take a chance on works that, even if they are not polished, still offer a lot of fun.

For its freedom and genuine arcade experience, therefore, Burnout Paradise Remastered deserves the recommendation as one of the most opportune conversions of the last generation, albeit late, and a beautiful addition to the growing library of racing games on the Switch.

Catherine: Full Body is about the two extremes of adult life: commitment or freedom. The story may seem to have some holes or badly developed characters, but this is not a flaw, because the intention of the game is to become a metaphor using precisely this context of indecision and questioning that the protagonist lives. With beautiful visuals and renewed gameplay, the remastering can please both those who have tried the original title and those who will play it for the first time.

6 / 10.0 - Blair Witch
Jul 8, 2020

Blair Witch is not a totally horrible game, but it is far from good enough to be strongly recommended. Which is a shame, because there are strong points in the title, which in the end ended up being buried by long and repetitive sessions of looking for collectibles and puzzles with little logical sense.

7 / 10.0 - The Almost Gone
Jul 6, 2020

The Almost Gone takes risks in an area little explored even by other indie developers, allowing the player to experience unique sensations. In short, it is a rich journey through the human subconscious.

7 / 10.0 - Good Job!
Jul 2, 2020

Good Job! it is undoubtedly a commendable attempt. The game can be a lot of fun if the player incorporates the employee who has absolutely nothing to lose and takes advantage that his salary is not at risk to de-stress and break everything he finds in front of him.

In a way, this weirdly licensed SpongeBob game is a decent piece of video game history and I think it's worth taking a chance if you like the genre. Some interesting new features also come up, like support for menus and subtitles in Brazilian Portuguese, and a very simple multiplayer mode in which you and a friend attack waves of enemies in sequence. Battle for Bikini Bottom has never been a perfect game - and it certainly is not yet the case - but it, at the very least, continues with its unique charm and outstanding gameplay.
