Scarlet Nexus excites with its nimble combat and brainpunk atmosphere. It's ecstatic to use psychic powers to hurl objects at enemies, unleash elaborate combos, and perform stylish finishes — it's like being at the center of an action anime. The diversity of abilities offers several options in battles, being very rewarding to combine the powers of allies with the use of special objects to defeat the creatures. The linear structure of the adventure and the focus on combat are fine, but it's a shame that the variety of enemies and scenarios is limited. The setting inspired by Japanese animations is great, but the plot full of absurd narrative features and clichés is a disappointment. In the end, Scarlet Nexus offers an impressive action experience, despite its problems.

Dark Deity has proven to be a fun game, whether you're a big fan of the genre or not. It's a classic strategy RPG that traps you in its story and make you empathize with the characters. Despite one or another flaw, the game is capable of entertaining for hours with objectives much more dynamic than just clearing the map of enemies. It mixes nostalgic air with punctual innovations.

Astro’s Playroom is a lovely game, with great level design and a simple and surprisingly pleasurable gameplay, which can be enjoyed by audiences of all ages and skill levels. It completely fulfills the proposal to demonstrate the potential of the new console, while paying a beautiful tribute to the entire trajectory of Sony consoles. It could bring a little more features, but it's still a memorable title and will always be a reference when it comes to demoing PS5 features.

This is by far one of the most beautiful titles I've ever played. Despite the basic story, the short duration of the campaign and the price in Brazil, Ratchet & Clank: In Another Dimension guarantees an extremely fun and dynamic experience while making excellent use of the PS5's DualSense and SSD features.

Legend of Mana fascinate in a remaster that rescues the strengths and weaknesses of the original game. Fa’Diel's magical world captivates with its vibrant locales and interesting characters, and the free progression invites us to explore every corner. Real-time combat has several options of weapons and techniques, which allows for numerous approaches, but the lack of fluidity makes it uncomfortable. Using an open structure is creative, but it's also fraught with problems: it lacks a more consistent main plot, it's easy to get lost, and many mechanics have obscure workings. The remastering updates the atmosphere with high-resolution artwork and new music arrangements, resulting in an even more beautiful game. In addition, some options have been added that make the journey a lot easier, such as being able to save anywhere — it's a shame they didn't take the opportunity to make adjustments to some of the systems. In the end, even after so many years, Legend of Mana remains a beautiful, flawed and remarkable RPG.

Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX carried a great responsibility and, in general, the game turned out to be positive: very beautiful visuals, solid gameplay, interesting campaign and some extras make the experience a must for fans and nostalgia. Other than that, we have a relatively short game that could have used more new features and content. This is a suggestion for those who enjoy a challenging platform or are looking for an original experience, but don't have high expectations.

Red Solstice 2: Survivors managed to positively surprise me. The limited vision and the constant mutant presence creates an atmosphere of tension that made me constantly alert. Moreover, unpredictable side missions help to keep the experience fresh and real-time combat eliminates all the luck factor in shootings.

Open Country tries to be original and innovative through a mix of RPG, hunting, sandboxing and survival, but ends up putting all its ambition in a big garbage can. This mix of incoherent and loosely unstructured genres resulted in a completely forgettable and non-recommended experience, obstructing any chance of success. Besides that, the game's main features are fraught with latency and physics issues.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is the definitive edition of the first installment of the PlayStation One classic reimagining for the next generation. It has graphics and performance improvements, new features (such as photo mode) , as well as an additional complement to its incredible storytelling. Now we can only wait for what will come in the future of the franchise.

Neptunia ReVerse is a very fun RPG, with intense combat and a good balance of difficulty and accessibility. It has a lot of extra content in the form of collectibles, side quests and the fishing minigame, which can entertain the player for quite a while. The story is not that complex, but it is strongly supported by the charisma of its characters, humor and fun combat mechanics. Although not extremely innovative, it is highly recommended to anyone who enjoys a good JRPG and wants to know or revisit Neptunia's universe origin.

Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth manages to deliver a fun 2D platform adventure experience. Its gameplay brings strong characteristics of established titles of the genre, but also adds its own identity, as in the case of elemental spirits. The unchallenging combat against common creatures is uninteresting and contrasts with the exciting duels against bosses. Its plot is uninviting for those unfamiliar with the Record of Lodoss universe. It does not compromise the experience, however, it limits the real potential that the campaign would have if previous events had been introduced. On the narrative side, witnessing Deedlit's shock at seeing his teammates after the passing of many years results in poignant and nostalgic moments, making the title a beautiful celebration of the franchise's 30th anniversary and an excellent choice for fans.

All in all, the PC version of No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle is hopeless. I really regret having to say something like that about one of my lifelong favorite games, but stay away from the Steam version. It just isn't worth it and doesn't do justice to what the franchise represents.

ENDER LILIES: Quietus of the Knights brings together several elements that pique my interest in metroidvania games: vast map full of secret locations, well-developed characters, a striking plot and, to top it off, a neat visual and a pleasant soundtrack that, together, contribute to a formidable ambiance. Although the title does not add great originality to the style, it knows very well how to use the inspiration of established franchises without sounding like something cliché or excessive, making it easily one of the best recommendations for those looking for an experience worthy of the best games of the genre.

Guilty Gear -Strive- may have raised some doubts about how good it would be, given some problems along the way, but it came to establish itself, not only as an excellent fighting game, but also one of the most important franchises of the genre. The game manages to be technical, inclusive and addictive, allowing anyone, with due effort, to become great players and fans of the series.

Wave Break is a title that could be quite interesting for skateboarding game fans who want something a little more exaggerated in tone. However, the single player experience turns out not to be all that interesting for someone who is a complete newcomer to the genre. Roguebook mixes elements just right to create a competent and enjoyable deck building roguelike. Its big difference is its focus on a pair of heroes, whose unique abilities are used in tactical combat with cards and positioning — there are lots of synergies and strategies available, and it's fun to test the various possibilities. The world captivates with its elaborate fantasy setting, and the mechanics of drawing paths on the map bring freedom to matches. The title invites us to play it constantly with unlockables and customization options, but the limited variety of content makes things a little tiring after a while. In the end, Roguebook turns out to be a unique and engaging deckbuilder roguelike.

No More Heroes is a unique piece of electronic entertainment that is proud to be the playful game that it is and deserves to be spread, universalized beyond Nintendo consoles. However, the PC port is a real disaster, all the disregard for this version of the game, which borders on the unplayable, should put in check even XSEED, a company that generally stands out for all the zeal it has with its products.

Griftlands uses flexible systems to create a remarkable roguelike deck-building RPG. Its best aspect, without a doubt, is the great influence of decisions: allying with someone or annihilating characters have important consequences in the events. In addition, it's exciting to be able to resolve dilemmas in a variety of ways—talk, intimidation, and bribery are valid options. The two types of encounters (negotiation and direct combat) are solid and with good possibilities, even if they are not as varied as other representatives of the genre. Finally, the elaborate narrative aspect makes the matches engaging, but there are some pacing problems. Griftlands is inventive and another great representative of the genre.

Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection is a collection that is worth only by its good games. In this, the game does not disappoint and is worth its price. Even with a decreasing level of quality, the average of the three games is still very high. Ryu Hayabusa's extreme adventures are a must for anyone who enjoys the hack and slash genre, featuring action-packed fights and frenzied combat. Besides the campaigns, there are many missions, secrets and extra challenges to enjoy each of the titles. Whether you're a fan of the ninja way or not, this is an excellent option for your library.

With several improvements and options to make it more accessible — less difficult should be more suitable — or more challenging, Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection is the best version of a videogame classic. With a presentation that brings excellent art and music, in addition to elements that greatly enhance the gameplay, the high difficulty still makes the game be targeted to a more specific niche. Still recommended, but to be enjoyed in moderation.
