10 / 10.0 - It Takes Two
Apr 8, 2021

It Takes Two ends up playing a very important role nowadays, mainly because of what the world is going through: reestablishing the approximation, unity and cooperativeness between family and friends, even if from a distance. The family theme is approached in a simple way and certainly brings reflections during the game, whether it is about the relationship of couples, children and friends. The game is still very accessible with its basic mechanics and low difficulty, so that people of any age and "gamer level" can enjoy with their loved ones.

8.5 / 10.0 - Cozy Grove
Apr 7, 2021

Although I found the daily game time to be very short, I recognize that it is precisely because of this concept that Cozy Grove can be a good choice for those who do not have time to engage in complex and long games. The progression is gentle: it's possible to advance the campaign without having to spend many hours on the island. In the end, this game is recommended for those looking for something to relax their minds.

6.5 / 10.0 - Paradise Lost
Apr 7, 2021

Paradise Lost is sustained by a contemplative atmosphere and a deeply human narrative, as its generic, repetitive and challenge-free gameplay should keep a large part of the audience away. Loaded with nuances, the title is a moving historical tale about the horrors of war, as well as the faces of mourning and loneliness, suitable only for those who are not interested in pushing buttons excessively or breaking their heads to solve puzzles.

Balan Wonderworld is a visually beautiful adventure that even tries to have a captivating story. However, its flaws stand out and make it a very uninteresting game. Not even Yuji Naka's name can bring anything striking to this title, which is a shame.

Nanotale – Typing Chronicles manages to transform the simple act of typing into something challenging and fun. The game has an impressive the number of words, which can undoubtedly help to increase our vocabulary. Rosalind's adventure sticks to the old recipe of the hero predestined to solve the world's problems, but it is carried out in a charming way. Taking into account the small bugs, those who enjoy adventure and RPG in real time will find in this title a gameplay with a reasonable plot, but which surprises by the gameplay totally out of the curve.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX is the best way to introduce the series to newcomers. The collection offers a nice selection of action RPGs with many hours of guaranteed fun, if the player reveals its problems. Some options help to ensure a good PC experience, but they do not fix the problems of the games and the package in general.

Despite presenting a weak and unoriginal story, Kaze and the Wild Masks is a pleasant surprise for fans of the platform genre and a great highlight in the Brazilian market for its high quality in several aspects, such as gameplay, animations and soundtrack.

El Hijo - The Wild West Tale attends well to everything it proposes with its experience without violence. It is light and challenging enough for casual players who are not used to the stealth genre, and that can leave the most demanding a little frustrated, but not dissatisfied. The Wild West is never out of style, but here the stealth could be a little more daring.

Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods - Part Two brought the last chapter of the reboot started in 2016. With new worlds, events and, especially, enemies and sharp challenges, we have a DLC that maintains the high quality. Although some points were not that good, the final result is great and concludes the Slayer saga in a satisfactory way.

Neptunia Virtual Stars is not a bad game. Thanks to the light narrative, fans of the series will find here an opportunity to quell the longing for Neptune and his gang, who remain as charismatic as ever. However, the difference in gameplay between the protagonists ends up causing an imbalance that should not be ignored, and the very inclusion of VTubers seems shallow when looking at the product as a whole. Therefore, it is necessary to keep expectations in check; that way, walking around the planet Emote and flirting with the idol career will probably be much more enjoyable.

DARQ: Complete Edition is one of those titles that comes in the right measure in almost every way: a very good level of challenge, satisfactory duration, simple gameplay and an inviting art to attract anyone's attention. There is only a slight caveat about the difficulty for those who prefer a more elaborate mental challenge, as the game does not have any tasks that I can call formidable, or a difficulty setting that encourages playing it again.

Total War: Three Kingdoms is one of those rare games, adorned with the power to fully absorb the player in its magic circle, making it very easy to play for hours in its universe. In addition to the great battles, there is a lot of fun to be found here in the various possibilities offered by the campaign, and enthusiasts of the genre are likely to be satisfied with the complexity that the game's subsystems can offer.

7.5 / 10.0 - Bladed Fury
Apr 1, 2021

Bladed Fury is a very interesting action game, with a well built world and simple and fun mechanics. The linearity and the little challenge in the middle of the levels are a bit annoying, but it has striking battles against bosses, a very pleasant gameplay and a beautiful look, reminiscent of a work of art. It is a short and interesting adventure for those looking for simple and satisfying fun.

7.5 / 10.0 - Genesis Noir
Mar 31, 2021

Genesis Noir is a curious and highly experimental experience. A surreal universe awaits those who immerse themselves in the game's proposal, which uses a mixture of non-interactive scenes and tactile puzzles to tell a complicated love story. Many exaggerated and impressive moments are scattered throughout the adventure, and the striking visuals and the punctual, but powerful, soundtrack intensify the sensations. However, there are problems, such as very basic puzzles, some confusing passages and an obtuse plot. In the end, Genesis Noir is a brief engaging visual show, basically an interactive film.

8 / 10.0 - Narita Boy
Mar 29, 2021

Narita Boy bets on a unique setting and on basic plataform concepts to create a pleasant adventure. The combat is exciting with agile movements and a good variety of situations, especially in the bosses. The highlight is the exotic and elaborate atmosphere inspired by the 1980s: the mythology of the Digital Kingdom is carefully crafted, and the pixel art look enchants with scenarios and scenes full of details complemented by a synthwave soundtrack. The simplicity of elements and the underutilization of mechanics is a little uncomfortable, but the atmosphere is able to compensate for these problems. In the end, Narita Boy is for those who wish to be transported to a different reality.

8.5 / 10.0 - Dandy Ace
Mar 24, 2021

Dandy Ace proves to be a great action roguelike. Its most notable aspect is the flexible spell card system that allows mixing effects in countless ways, explored in combats that require constant readaptation - part of the fun is precisely finding powerful combinations of attacks. A stylish universe with charismatic characters makes the adventure engaging, and there's plenty of content to unlock. However, the limited variety of maps and situations can bring a sense of repetition in the long run. In the end, Dandy Ace is a frantic experience that is worth checking out.

7.5 / 10.0 - Black Legend
Mar 24, 2021

Black Legend is a tactical RPG with a good sinister and historical setting. It is fun, but overly complex. If you overcome the initial difficulty barrier, you will be rewarded with a rich, immersive strategic game with lots of possibilities for experimentation.

7.5 / 10.0 - For Sparta
Mar 23, 2021

Playing For Sparta automatically reminded me of those endless minigames that we played as kids that increased the difficulty as we progressed. This formula still works well these days and this game brings a high level of difficulty as we survive the days. Combinations of opponents become increasingly challenging, requiring skill from the player and a bit of luck finding good improvements. Eventually, you will be more than familiar with all types of opponents, and the only the goal becomes achieving the highest score possible. This can diminish interest in the title, but without invalidating its potential.

In general, Saviors of Sapphire Wings / Stranger of Sword City Revisited is a double package that is certainly worthwhile for those who want to try good examples of dungeon RPGs. Both veterans and newcomers to the genre can have a lot of fun with both games, even though their low budget and small bad design decisions end up weakening the overall quality a little.

7.5 / 10.0 - Red Ronin
Mar 17, 2021

Red Ronin surprises with its creative puzzles. The main mechanics are simple to understand, but special abilities and a good variety of dangers make the stages complex and interesting. It is stylish and fun to go out and cut everything on the swordsman's shoes, however some points are annoying, such as constant presence of trial and error and peaks of difficulty. In the end, Red Ronin is a good agile puzzle option with good ideas.
