If the aspect you like most about a video game is its story, Senua's Saga: Hellblade II is a great option and will give you hours of fun — and can be finished in up to seven hours —, however, it can frustrate you if you're just looking for unrestrained action.

With simple but demanding gameplay, BIT.TRIP RERUNNER is one of those games that makes you want to play “just one more time” several times. Integrating many possibilities into the runner genre, including rhythmic and action elements, the stages are fun and challenging. To top it off, the level creation and sharing mode brings even more life to the game.

Isles of Sea and Sky is a unique experience that challenges players with a combination of beautiful pixel visuals, charming soundtrack, and very clever puzzles. This game doesn't stop at being yet another adventure title, demanding resourcefulness, patience and dedication to offer a gratifying journey to those who love to overcome high level mental challenges. Despite its high difficulty and the lack of a tip system, the freedom to explore and the feeling of reward once you solve a puzzle make this title a solid recommendation for the true fans of the genre.

With an unusual proposal, Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game is a fun asymmetrical multiplayer game. The levels of action and strategy are balanced, providing competitive matches, although very dependent on the other players in the room. The fight between clowns and humans could also have provided more game options, but at least what we have available is a great choice for fans of competitive and different titles.

9 / 10.0 - Indika
Jun 3, 2024

If you like games focused on narrative and good puzzles, INDIKA is a great option. There are few games that manage to remain in our thoughts even after the credits roll and this is certainly one that will remain with those who venture into this strange world.

8.5 / 10.0 - Torn Away
Jun 1, 2024

Even though it presents deficiencies in the execution of some of the proposed game mechanics, Torn Away manages to fulfill an important role with praise, demonstrating in fact the potential that the video game medium has to truly be art, being able to transmit important messages and being, indirectly, a catalyst of beneficial changes to society.

Samurai Warriors 4 DX is a solid Musou option on PC, offering the level of fun expected from a title in the series. With a good variety of content, the game should please fans of the genre who had not yet enjoyed Samurai Warriors 4, although it already has several defects that should not be ignored in a new release in 2024.

Morbid: The Lords of Ire is an unfortunate case of a game with potential but plagued by poor design choices and a lack of technical refinement. You can't keep thinking about what it stopped being, but there is the feeling of an idea that could have been better used if they continued with a footprint closer to its predecessor and refined its 2D isometric style instead of starting from scratch for an attempt pharaonic to build a fully 3D environment.

Astor: Blade of the Monolith suffers from a scope that seems too large for the team's capabilities. Although the combat is diversified due to the improvements and weapons acquired, and the setting is eye-catching, the campaign becomes increasingly uninteresting and prolonged, without presenting enough variety to keep the player engaged. The result is an empty game that, despite not being exactly bad, doesn't bring anything special.

9 / 10.0 - Horizon Chase 2
May 30, 2024

Horizon Chase 2 amplifies the qualities of its predecessor and delivers an excellent arcade racing game. Even with few game modes and the absence of a specific focus on multiplayer, the title is extremely fun and just as challenging, making it suitable for hours of solo or accompanied play.

In addition to the refined base game and the aforementioned technologies, Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut includes unlocked frames, the Iki Island DLC, and Legends mode. This makes the package everything PC gamers expected from one of Sony's most unique exclusives. Despite my issues with the open world design, this aspect had little impact on my overall experience.

8.5 / 10.0 - Zet Zillions
May 29, 2024

Zet Zillions uses good ideas to stand out in one of the most popular genres today. The wide variety of cards, fusions, allies, enemies and skills allows each run to be unique and unpredictable, requiring adaptation and planning from the player. Furthermore, the title from OTA IMON Studios exudes personality in its art, dialogue and good humor, making it a unique experience. It's not a game that will revolutionize the genre, but just by doing the basics well, it's worth recommending to enthusiasts.

8 / 10.0 - XDefiant
May 28, 2024

Among so many strong competitors, XDefiant emerges as a new free FPS option. Making clever use of famous brands, the game offers fun and competitive gunfights across interesting factions and maps. The gameplay is solid and the production is competent, especially for a recently released title. I hope the game fixes its problems in future updates and makes good use of its great future potential.

5 / 10.0 - C.A.R.D.S. RPG
May 27, 2024

C.A.R.D.S. RPG: The Misty Battlefield is a product that tries to sell itself as a well-done and polished package but it's extremely shallow and empty as far as content goes. It tries to draw inspiration from a genre with ever more representatives in the market but fails to bring a satisfying, compelling experience. In sum, it's difficult to recommend this title unless at least the combat difficulty is properly rebalanced. Extremely strong enemies right at the start of the campaign force us not to look for new strategies to win but to give up on the game in its entirety.

7.5 / 10.0 - Manic Mechanics
May 26, 2024

Using a recognizable theme, Manic Mechanics turns the work at a car repair shop into a fun experience. With simple mechanics, the title manages to offer balanced challenges in which players must fix engines, paint airfoils, and make electronic chips, all of it to repair vehicles and get the highest score. Even if it has a few issues, especially when it comes to online matches, it's still a good option for your library."

Touhou Genso Wanderer -FORESIGHT- is a game that, despite its limitations, can entertain. The less punitive approach and the characters' charisma make Reimu Hakurei's adventure a pleasant and accessible journey, especially for those who love the genre. However, the lack of variety in some aspects may frustrate players looking for a solid and challenging experience.
