The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak introduces a new arc to the franchise with an approach centered on the protagonist, the spriggan Van Arkride. The title stands out as an excellent RPG that explores the conflicting interests of the multiple factions that coexist in Calvard and brings with it a new system that makes the experience closer to a hybrid of action and turn. It's easily one of the best games in the franchise and an excellent way to give a headstart to Calvard's story.

The best iteration of the franchise in the world of strategy games, Metal Slug Attack Reloaded arrives with lots of action and game options. The traditional production with charismatic visuals and hilarious sound effects is present, making use of the entire history of the franchise to offer a lot of content. It's a shame that the title wasn't able to completely eliminate some of the negative points arising from its origins. Even so, it is worth recommending to tower defense fans and, above all, lovers of this beloved series.

Beyond Good & Evil - 20th Anniversary Edition is a remaster that manages to capture the essence of the original while offering welcome improvements for modern platforms. The revitalized look, adjustments to controls and the inclusion of new content are highlights that will certainly please both old fans and new players. While the game still has some technical and design limitations, especially evident 20 years after its original release, it retains its charm and continues to be an engaging experience.

I won't deny that I had fun with HEAVEN SEEKER —— The Savior of This Cruel World, especially due to its frantic combat. The great variety of skills and the possibility to combine them in various ways helps bring a little novelty in each run. However, the little care put into the story, the stage design and the enemy variety bothered me too much, as the feeling of repetition came in every single run. For that reason, I believe it's only recommended for players who love to suffer with tough games and do not care much for an elaborate story.

NeoSprint is not intended to be an exponent of the racing genre, but the way in which the title has been revitalized makes it very inviting for those who want the light fun that an arcade game provides. The colorful and cartoonish style was a wise choice and the generous amount of content is a great choice for those who like the mix of retro style with something more modern.

Through a lean and straightforward adventure, Echo Generation: Midnight Edition is a perfect choice for anyone who wants an adventure tailor-made for newcomers to RPGs, or even video games in general. But some details, or even lack of ambition (if the developers were looking for that) make it a difficult recommendation for more experienced players or for those looking for challenges.

Though it makes a few mistakes, Tavern Talk is a success as a bar simulator and as an RPG. The game uses the best of both genres for the sake of a unique narrative granting its place alongside its biggest inspirations. I definitely won't forget Fable, Caerlin, Rhea, Kyle and the others so soon.

Monster Hunter Stories is a great monster-catching RPG and a high-quality addition to PC, PS4, and Switch. The experience is still captivating and worth checking out for any player interested in the genre.

The Smurfs - Village Party has good intentions and ideas, no doubt. Using the Adventure mode to get players to know each minigame in a natural way is an excellent choice, but the multiplayer part, which should be the biggest appeal, ends up lacking. Even so, this is another Smurfs game worth having at home to perhaps play with friends.

Times & Galaxy turns the professional journalism experience into a charismatic space travel that delivers both the fascinating aspects of its fictional universe and some conditions that are easy to extrapolate to the real world. The result isn't perfect, but it's a thrilling adventure all the same.

To the delight of PlayStation 5 owners, V Rising arrived in all its bloodthirsty glory. More than a fun game with well-balanced difficulty, we have an adventure through a vast world full of interesting things to do. Highlights include combat with customizable skills and a robust construction system. In short, another great suggestion for any library.

Rocket Knight Adventures: Re-Sparked! is a basic collection but it's valid as a way to make these games accessible on modern systems. When we consider that, Limited Run Games is doing a good job, and it's excellent to know that the charismatic opossum knight isn't completely forgotten.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is a magnificent farewell to the saga of the Tainted One and the demigods. Even if FromSoftware made a bit of a mistake in balancing the bosses, there is enough content to last an entire game and anyone who enjoyed the base will have a lot to enjoy here, especially when exploring the paths and secrets to discover the intricate verticality of the world. open.

With great additions such as the Prismatic subclass, new ways of telling your narrative, a refined system that dilutes excessive grinding and a new level of difficulty, The Final Shape delivers an experience that will captivate any player who has had his mark on the guardians' journey. I confess that I entered this era feeling hopeless, wanting to end my story with Destiny exactly at the end of this saga, but I left excited and hopeful for the future of the Vanguard and the Traveler.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin offers a captivating experience for RPG fans. Its arrival in the PlayStation catalog represents a valuable opportunity for players who enjoy the concept of collecting creatures, a subgenre that has traditionally been more accessible to Nintendo console owners. Furthermore, people with a sense of completionist will find a lot to collect here, be it monsters, equipment or clothing.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance reaffirms the franchise's legacy in a complex and immersive experience. The RPG maintains the classic elements of tactical turn-based combat, demon-baiting, and dark atmosphere, while introducing a more open-ended and vast exploration structure. The definitive version significantly expands the content with new missions, characters and technical improvements, providing an immersive adventure for newcomers and veterans alike.

Even with some limitations, Master Key stands out by combining simplicity and retro aesthetics in a challenging and pleasant adventure. In order not to guide us, some moments can be frustrating and confusing but it's balanced out by the fun of finding out the world's secrets. Overall, the experience is positive and worth experimenting, especially for those [feeling] nostalgic for old games.

Catmaze's successes make up for its limitations. The visuals sometimes look amateurish and the metroidvania design isn't impressive, but it's lean and well-executed. Even though it's a bit slow, the combat offers some good moments, with challenging bosses. The most important thing for me was the story, which surprised me by stitching together Slavic myths into a great adventure full of characters, layers, nuances and secrets.

Tiny Terry’s Turbo Trip is a super fun experience that has the potential to attract many players due to its eccentric humor and the variety of missions. It's a light game, with a low level of challenge, perfect for passing the time and having a little laugh. Some gameplay problems are present, especially in platform sections that require a little more precision, but nothing that ruins the experience.

As an exemplary "minivania", Sheepo delivers a concise and well-crafted world to explore every corner, making good use of the brevity for an agile, focused and fun campaign. If you also consider that the price is proportionate and offers great value for money, it is a game that is recommended for anyone who likes metroidvania and 2D platforms in general.
