Dungeons of Hinterberg is a solid game that’s definitely worth a try. The story flows smoothly, and the dungeon encounters offer engaging challenges—though they’re never too difficult. You’ll find yourself swept up in this enjoyable and unique adventure, though fans of hardcore challenges might find it a bit too simple and basic.

Resident Evil Requiem is an installment that carries the weight of thirty years of history on its shoulders and, for the most part, manages to bear it with a certain dignity and self-awareness. The dual-protagonist structure works exceptionally well in representing the two souls of the franchise; Grace Ashcroft stands out as one of the most interesting additions to the series’ roster; and the return to Raccoon City is handled with the respect and care that fans deserved. The RE Engine reaches new technical heights, and the overall atmosphere is among the darkest and most immersive the series has ever offered.

8.5 / 10.0 - Neva: Prologue
Mar 3, 2026

Neva: Prologue resolves the initial question regarding the real need to reveal the backstory of an already complete adventure, dispelling it the moment you are faced with the pure tenderness of the budding bond between the brave warrior and the four-legged pup. While the experience’s marked brevity and the partial rehash of threats already largely overcome in the past might understandably raise some eyebrows, the masterful recalibration of the challenge level and the clever reworking of the jumping mechanics through the delicate act of physical transport transform this expansion into a precious and satisfying exercise in style.

To answer the questions we posed in the introduction: no, Yakuza Kiwami 3 is not a good remake. The removal of a significant portion of the original’s content creates a void that the new additions fail to fill, while certain stylistic choices and various minor shortcomings prevent this version from establishing itself as the definitive replacement for the 2009 game or its most recent remaster. At the same time, it would be unfair to dismiss the title as a failure, as taken on its own it remains a genuinely enjoyable experience, capable of preserving the spirit of the series and backed by writing that had already won over many fans in the past.

6 / 10.0 - High on Life 2
Feb 23, 2026

Summing up this odyssey, we find ourselves faced with a work that thrives on constant playful and emotional contrasts, capable of eliciting laughter thanks to a satirical joke and then plunging the player into frustration due to disastrous technical aspects. Despite the developers' commendable desire to broaden the franchise's horizons by exploring mature themes such as the commodification of human beings by ruthless pharmaceutical corporations, the lack of adequate overall polish and the excessive verbosity of numerous passages end up heavily watering down the overall experience.

8.5 / 10.0 - Reanimal
Feb 21, 2026

REANIMAL marks Tarsier Studios’ return to the roots of its signature style, filtered through a more mature, violent, and ambitious lens. The atmosphere is masterful, and the art direction confirms the Swedish studio as one of the most talented in the contemporary horror scene. However, beneath the visceral and beautifully crafted surface of this brief experience, limitations emerge that are hard to ignore: insufficient length, sections that struggle to maintain momentum, a combat system that isn’t entirely convincing, and a narrative that leaves too many loose ends.

8.3 / 10.0 - Nioh 3
Feb 20, 2026

With Nioh 3, Team Ninja makes its creative intentions clearer and more unmistakable than ever: to take gameplay and the combat system to the next level. The style-switching mechanic, combined with the myriad of weapons, move sets, abilities, tools, and transformations, vastly expands the range of playstyles and makes the whole experience even more technical, dynamic, and stylish. Despite a still-questionable loot system and several concerns about the game’s balance, the title offers an even more elaborate set of progression and upgrade systems, making the final experience one of the richest and most immersive available. The new game structure is also highly appreciated; while it may seem flat and bland compared to that of other titles, it represents a true creative liberation from that of previous installments, finally opening the door to new design possibilities for DLC and, why not, even for future main titles.

7.5 / 10.0 - Easy Delivery Co.
Feb 18, 2026

Easy Delivery Co. is undoubtedly an enjoyable experience, especially thanks to its almost meditative pace, its intriguing plot, and its quirky characters, but it fails to be truly engaging, mainly because of its repetitiveness.

Daniele Guidi
Feb 17, 2026

We liked Styx: Blades of Greed to some extent, but unfortunately, it also left us a bit disappointed. Nine years after the release of the series’ last installment, we would have expected a significant improvement, but instead we found some flaws and shortcomings. The somewhat predictable plot, subpar AI, and various technical issues undermine the good work Cyanide has done. It’s a shame, because the engaging protagonist, excellent storytelling, and—above all—the well-crafted gameplay and world-building had us hopeful. A merely decent title that doesn’t fully convince, recommended for fans of the series and the genre, but one that might disappoint everyone else.

8.5 / 10.0 - Arknights: Endfield
Feb 16, 2026

Arknights: Endfield isn’t just a gacha game; it’s a well-rounded title that offers hours and hours of gameplay, from exploring dungeons to developing industrial facilities. It seems almost impossible to access such a wealth of content without spending a single penny, especially given the high-quality graphics and sound. Perhaps the plot isn’t particularly original, and the gacha system can be frustrating, but these are details you can overlook if you decide to fully immerse yourself in the experience this title has to offer.

My Hero Academia: All’s Justice is anything but a perfect product. It’s not without its issues, it isn’t always flawlessly balanced, and for that very reason, it might not appeal to those who aren’t particularly fond of Kōhei Horikoshi’s original manga or who aren’t familiar with 3D fighting games. Yet, what was said in the introduction remains true: we are looking at a project created with passion, a game made by fans for fans, and despite its flaws, none of the issues encountered truly manage to compromise the overall experience of a title that knows its audience perfectly and knows how to win them over.

Romeo is a Dead Man is certainly a unique game; its style is hard to find in other titles of the genre, and the boldness with which it presents unconventional narrative choices and gameplay elements makes it truly one of a kind. However, certain flaws prevent it from becoming the standout title it could have been, and so even though it comes close to greatness—thanks to a nice variety in gameplay—it unfortunately fails to make the leap needed to be one of Suda51’s best games.

7.5 / 10.0 - Earth Must Die
Feb 9, 2026

Earth Must Die is a delightful graphic adventure that offers a series of consistently entertaining scenarios and characters who are as detestable as they are hilarious. Despite a few gameplay elements that end up making the adventure too easy, the game is definitely a worthwhile purchase for any fan of graphic adventures.

Carmageddon: Rogue Shift is a solid, fast-paced, and engaging racing-action roguelite, capable of becoming addictive thanks to a well-crafted gameplay loop, rewarding progression, and a wide range of strategic options. The gameplay is chaotic and exhilarating, supported by a strong system of weapons and perks and a reliable technical performance. At the same time, however, the game abandons much of Carmageddon’s historical identity: iconic characters, vehicles, and maps are missing, the narrative remains marginal, and the overall aesthetic feels dark and somewhat anonymous.

8 / 10.0 - Shogun Showdown
Jan 21, 2026

Shogun Showdown is an example of how the simplicity of game design, supported by a concept, can be transformed into a depth capable of attracting the attention of lovers of the genre. Roboatino's production succeeds in maintaining high tension through a combat system that does not reward those who get distracted. The title manages to capture the sense of gratification that comes from overcoming a challenge, offering a balanced learning curve. A little gem from the indie world that deserves to be tried by anyone who loves strategy and roguelikes.

Hank: Drowning On Dry Land is a profound intellectual experience which, despite its unfortunately limited longevity, manages to capture and convey the vision of a hero at the mercy of himself. Although there are some technical uncertainties, they do not invalidate the overall quality of a title that shines for its courage and solid basic mechanics.

8 / 10.0 - Pseudoregalia
Jan 12, 2026

Pseudoregalia is a little platform gem that captures the pure essence of the genre while evolving its mechanics. Although the combat system and initial navigation may be a little rough around the edges, the title shines thanks to a movement system that is pure joy. It is a work dedicated to those who love a challenge, unguided exploration and that lost aesthetic charm of the early 2000s.

Two Falls (Nishu Takuatshina) is not a video game for everyone, nor does it want to be. It is an experience that requires patience and a willingness to be transported to an era of cultural and spiritual clashes. This development studio's debut offers an honest and never banal look at colonial history and the roots of the Innu people. Despite some technical uncertainties, the title manages to impress with its enchanting atmosphere and profound message.

7.7 / 10.0 - Ritual of Raven
Dec 22, 2025

Ritual of Raven proves to be a successful video game experiment, capable of shaking the foundations of a genre that too often lacks innovative ideas. The work done by Spellgarden Games delves deeply into the dynamics of interaction between the user and the world of Leynia, offering a vision that is different from the rest.
