The House in Fata Morgana: Dreams of Revenants Edition is an experience that is both beautiful and painful in equal measure. The game moved me deeply, made me feel close to the characters as if they were my friends, and at the end of the experience it was hard to hold back the tears. It is not an easy recommendation, it is a long experience that requires a lot of reading, not mentioning all the the traumatic events that are narrated. But I leave my recommendation for those who enjoy a complex and dramatic story, even if you are not familiar with the genre, do not be afraid, the experience is very similar to reading a fantastic book.

Monster Hunter Rise is without a doubt one of the best games ever released for the Nintendo Switch. Its graphics are some of the most beautiful ever presented on the console, its gameplay is solid and the game presents a great challenge for those who want a difficult game.

Saviors of Sapphire Wings & Stranger of Sword City Revisited is a fairly straightforward experience that doesn't add anything special to the genre. Despite this, the game has interesting ideas and will certainly attract the attention of dungeon crawler fans.

8.5 / 10.0 - Two Point Hospital
Mar 9, 2021

Two Point Hospital JUMBO Edition is a beautifully crafted game that will immerse you in a fun and relaxing experience, packed with thoughtful mechanics designed to make the game as interactive as possible. The planning starts simple and becomes increasingly complex, making the game extremely appealing to those who have never played the original or others of its kind before.

Bravely Default II plays it safe but satisfactorily delivers everything that was presented in the previous games in an improved way and with additions that, although welcome, are nothing like we've seen in other JRPG titles. The graphics are striking due to the quality of the textures, but what really stands out are the mechanics already established in the series and the return of composer Revo for the game's music, which in turn generate memorable moments in the game in addition to exciting battles against the Asterisk holders.

Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy is a necessary continuation of Ryza's adventures as it brings part of the development of each previously introduced character to the surface while also showing a lot of new things, thus noting a great evolution from the first title, making it even seem more dated. I admire Gust's concern for improving certain things we noticed in Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout instead of just introducing new mechanics, so I can say that yes, Atelier Ryza 2 is an excellent sequel.

5 / 10.0 - Gal*Gun Returns
Feb 8, 2021

Gal☆Gun Returns is a rather weak title that relies too much on its mix of ecchi and rail shooter. Considering that rail shooters are a genre that has been little explored and has had few releases in recent years, it could be recommended if you are interested in this style of game since it manages to deliver a unique proposition, but that is not the case here, because if you don't like games with ecchi, or have big problems with this genre of anime, there is no reason to play it. And even if you do, I'm sure there must be animes, and even other games, that do fanservice much better than Gal☆Gun Returns. Unless you are a big fan of the franchise or want to mess around by introducing it to a friend, as was the case with me, there is no reason to have this game in your eShop account or a cartridge on your shelf.

If you're a hardcore JRPG fan, Atelier Ryza doesn't offer a satisfyingly high difficulty or complex builds to work through, and you might be disappointed if, for example, you've just come off an epic adventure in Final Fantasy VII Remake or Xenoblade Chronicles. However, if you're a longtime fan, Atelier Ryza is the natural evolution of the franchise after the Mysterious trilogy, as it not only offers a visual touch-up but also brings additions - albeit experimental ones - to enrich you with a varied Atelier experience.

void tRrLM(); //Void Terrarium is simple and captivating, however it was one of the best experiences I had in 2020. I can say that I was quite frustrated during my adventures and failed several times, but knowing that I am doing this for the good of a person, to keep them alive in a lifeless world, is my determination to continue progressing. I had sad and happy moments, and that was good.
