The Lost Hero is a honorable sequel that doesn't limit itself to the past and wants to offer to the player something refreshing while keeping it faithful to the original. It's a title that innovates in its systems and abuses them in the right way; it's especially challenging enough for SRPG fans, but also accessible in the same manner for those who aren't as keen in the genre. Its story is equally accessible, offering a simple narrative, but well structured and tight with a colorful and fun cast.

As much purposefulness as there are interesting ideas, DreadOut has an extremely unfinished gameplay full of design problems and a poorly told story that can lead a game with interesting ideas to collapse.

Blade Chimera is more successful than not and kept me hooked from start to finish. After finishing the campaign, I ran after the side missions and the missing puzzle pieces. Since I play very slowly, it took me about 18 hours to complete it, but it's definitely possible to do everything in less than 10 hours. There are also some surprises, like two minigames that we can try out. The visuals are very beautiful and the game is a lot of fun. It's a rare and good thing to see a title with almost no technical problems at its launch — point for the developers. Anyway, Blade Chimera is a great choice for the metroidvania fans, with a cool story and fun gameplay.

The Oath in Felghana is a top-notch retro gem, and the remaster is here to intensify that. It's a breathtaking experience that will test your skills as a player, but without punishing you unfairly. I highly recommend it if you're a fan of action games in general, and if you're a Ys fan who came from Lacrimosa of Dana and later, this is certainly a must-play title.

Never has a game captured so well the chaotic feeling of two demolition experts battling satanic forces! [...] Nothing in ANTONBLAST is delivery half-baked.

In summary, Pine presents itself as a game that talks about grief but is not intended to be used as therapy or aid. Its existence seems more like an exercise of empathy to the player, putting us in the place of this tragic character and, regardless of our individual decisions, making us absorb his process, which may or may not be replicated, but does not have that goal (of being replicated) in mind. Just go through this short and beautiful experience and enjoy it; hopefully we'll feel enough appreciation to miss it when we hit the credits.

Despite having mentioned some caveats, Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to lose a few pounds while enjoying their Switch. The title has easy-to-do exercises and great accessibility options for those who are out of rhythm or want to do something calmer and stress-free.

Fairy Tail 2 manages to evolve the concept of adapting the series to the RPG format in an interesting way, though it behind a bit of the softhearted adventurer charm of the franchise in exchange for an open-ish world. Despite performance issues on Switch and adapting a late plot in the franchise too quickly, the frantic action and combat mechanic depth really stand out and promise a satisfying experience for fans of the genre.

For me, this remaster is a greedy release that exploits, without much effort, the nostalgia of fans of the original games, to profit from a title that has been for a long time, unfairly, at the bottom of Crystal Dynamics' chest. Despite my frustration presented here, both games are excellent. If you never played it, you can play without fear. Especially the first one. The focus here, however, is the relevance of this collection, not the games themselves. And, in that sense, I can clearly say that I was expecting more.

Debut Project: Cooking Café is ultimately an honest and enjoyable game, doing what is necessary to be successful for its target audience. Although some game design issues may make you question its overall quality, it is not offensive. So even with my criticisms, it's still a pretty solid game.

Frankly, there's nothing particularly new here. The way the individual elements are organized is the thing that builds this interesting work. ARGs in games has been a thing for a while now, so hidden endings can't be called new. Still, Animal Well presents everything with a new look, as it is capable of reorganizing references, creating a world of its own, with solutions that depend on the "collective playing". Therefore, there is no way to classify Animal Well in any way other than as the best experience of its kind in 2024.

Divine Dynamo Flamefrit is a project from INTI CREATES that pays a homage and a satire to various Japanese archetypes. While it might be short and not that memorable, I totally recommend that you give the game a try.

I'm not sure if Deck Nine has forgotten what the Life is Strange series should really be about or if Square Enix is pushing to make the series easier to sell; However, the path the franchise is taking does not appeal to me and the end of the game ends up leaving a bitter taste for the future. For fans of the franchise, I think you should play it and draw your own conclusions. The game isn't so bad that it's painful to play, as you'll at least be entertained by what's happening. However, I do not recommend playing it on Nintendo Switch, I really recommend that you try to play on another platform.

Having the perfect team doesn't necessarily mean they can put out a perfect game. Now free from its Apple Arcade mobile jail, Fantasian Neo Dimension is now out there for everyone to play with its pros and cons for everyone to see.

Fairy Tail is a turn-based RPG that manages to have a great representation of the magic of Fairy Tail with its setting, soundtrack and especially the multiple guild and combat features. Even with its flaws, such as a rigid structure of the main campaign (especially before the final stretch) and a clear cut in budget, the result is still something easily recommendable, especially for those who already know Hiro Mashima's universe.

I finished Stray in about 5 hours. It's a short game that can be extended a little longer if you want to find all the collectibles, but I have to tell you that the lenght of the experience is perfect. Everything happens at the right time and nothing takes too long, playing this from start to finish is like watching a great movie with a story that leaves you perfectly satisfied. Despite having a much larger universe than what is shown in the game, there is no need for Stray 2, what we have here is enough and beautifully wraps up the journey of an orange cat with his robot friend.

Balatro offers a fair experience within its propposal, inovating taking as basis a simple and intuitive system. Everyone should experience it the same way how a good Solitaire should be experienced: as a logic exercise.

Steam Prison: Beyond the Steam is a decent fandisk, and it offers quite a bit of content for those who enjoyed the original game. However, if you're looking for romance, you'll be sorely disappointed. Even though the game adds three routes, you can only describe them as "well, they're technically new."

Zero to Dance Hero doesn't make you an eximious dancer, obviously, but I liked [how it works] especially as a start to being more active without going out of home to a gym. It seems like one of those Zumba class recordings that always show up in movies for housewives to do in America. [...] But the advantage is that here we have a calories count and can track this daily, evaluating the performance and effort.
